As I lie awake, halfway past the midnight hour, I think about how I should probably be getting some rest.
It's like in the night I feel still, sometimes dreading the morning while other times it's looked towards in anticipation.
Alone.
One lone soul.
Just me and a poem.
Just me with my heart as my own home.
No matter where I am, I can always feel some sense of comfort because I'm there.
Being present where my feet are physically.
My mental just as free as me.
I've got everything I need.
Inside of me.Love and a dream.
So tomorrow morning is another day for me to smile and encourage myself.. live and praise every passing and failing of any test.
Lesson after lesson.
Blessings on blessings.
With the midnight hour almost over.. I can feel my body growing more tired.
Having released most of the thoughts from my head, theirs no more frenzy at the root of my brain, allowing me to rest.
