THE VIEW

"So what do you think?" Kirah asked turning around facing Carter who was busy looking at the view of the condo

This was the third place Kirah has showed her. She hasn't said much each place so she wasn't sure if Carter even likes any of them.

She slowly nodded "I like this one. It has more than enough space for me and my brother."

"Yeah I agree. Do you have pets?"

"A little poodle." She said

"Well yeah I think this place gives off a good home like vibe."

"I agree." She crossed her arms "So where do I sign at?"

"Oh um..."

Kirah dug through her big tote bag before pulling out of one the three folders from her purse.

She handed them to Carter who looked back at her with amusement. Usually realtors would say they'll have it ready the next day and give her the keys.

She liked that Kirah was on her business shit.
Walking over to the counter she opened the folder up.

"Actually, I'm giving that to you so you can go over it with your lawyer. I'm not a get over but I don't want you to not have a full chance to read over it."

Carter nodded "Got it."

"I wrote my number on there in case you have questions while reading over it."

She nodded "Okay."

It had got quiet for a moment and Kirah didn't know what else to say to her so she just stood there acting like she was looking around at the apartment.

Meanwhile Carter just looked at her with a raised eyebrow "I see you got a different attitude than yesterday."

Kirah raised her eyebrow "I didn't have an attitude yesterday."

Carter twisted her lips to the side giving Kirah a "Really" face.

She chuckled and had put her hands up "Okay maybe I did."

"Maybe?" Carter questioned

Kirah rolled her eyes "I did have an attitude yesterday. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have judged your brother or said that in the first place."

"I want to apologize too." Carter said placing the folder on the counter

"I shouldn't have let it go like that on my behalf-

Kirah shook her head cutting her off "Oh no, please don't apologize. You didn't say anything wrong. You had every right to defend you brother after what I said."

Carter slowly nodded her head.

Kirah grabbed a bottle of wine out of her bag before handing it over to Carter.
