Carter held Kirah's hair back as she let out all of her breakfast into the toilet.

She sighed closing the seat and flushing it before Carter helped her up to walk over to the vanity sink.

She brushed her teeth for a few minutes before rinsing her mouth out with some mouthwash.

After washing her hands, she turned around looking at Carter who was standing in the connected bathroom doorway.

"You feeling better?" She asks

Kirah took a shaky breath walking over into her arms. Carter securely wrapped them around her as she broke down into tears again.

She never felt so drained, tired, and even more hurt than now. Don't get her wrong, she was hurt when she found out about her status and even when it got aired out to social media but this... what she just found out had her feeling like nothing she went before was as bad.

It's been about two hours since her conversation with Miles. He cried for a good bit of that time and he refused to let her go until he went to sleep.

She held herself and her emotions together until she went into her bedroom where she ended up not being able to. The whole situation has made her physically sick for about thirty minutes straight.

Hearing her, Carter went upstairs to help her which resulted in Kirah telling her what she was told.

"Baby..." Carter trails off

"W-why? Why the fuck would he do that to him? How can someone be so disgusting?" She cried

Carter held her "I don't know baby. People are truly just sick in the head. You can't go back in time and stop it from happening but what you can do is be by Miles side. He needs you more than ever right now."

"I can't believe this." She says into her chest, "I can't believe someone had hurt him like that. And he's been holding this in for the last two years or so?"

"I know baby, I know." Carter caressed her lower back

The emotional toll was definitely taking over her. It much worse than anything she's experienced before.

Miles may not be her child but legally she's was his guardian, and she wasn't trying to knock her mother but she felt like she and her grandmother was the closest thing her had to a real parent.

She knew that he was holding back some things but she would've never imagined it be this. As an older sister, you never really know what pain is until someone hurts someone you love and care about.

She never wanted to protect Miles more than she did now. And it was hurting her more knowing that he would be going to college soon but she was going to the best she can to prepare him to step out into adulthood.

She still needed some answers to the questions that were running through her head. Miles didn't clarify what things he did to him but Kirah needed to know what and if their mother knew this had happened.

She was truly praying and hoping that she didn't know any of this happened because if she did- Kirah don't know what she'll say or do to her.
