After editing some photos and running a few errands, Carter found her way back downtown to Kirah's penthouse building. She wasn't sure if she was going to let her up but she did.
Getting on the elevator, Carter rode up the dozens of floors then it stops and the doors open to the penthouse. She stepped off and some seconds later Kirah was coming down the stairs. She walks up to Carter glancing over at her and she can tell she was examining her outfit.
Carter wore some grey sweats with an all black tee shirt. She had her matching sibling necklace around her neck and some all black Givenchy slides on.
"Mm." Is all she said which had let Carter know she still had a little attitude
Carter looked at her and seen had on a white tank top with some sweatpants.
"I didn't think you were going to come back over. Where did you go?"
Carter held up the grocery bags in her hand before walking past her "I went to go finish some work and run some errands."
Which was true.
She had plans to take Kirah somewhere tonight but it was raining and she knew she would much rather cook, watch movies and cuddle with her.
"Miles here?" Carter asks
"No, he asked to sleep over by one his teammates house after practice today. He won't be back home until tomorrow after school."
"Hmm good idea, Miles." She said jokingly but Kirah didn't laugh
"Okay so you disappear for hours and not answer my phone calls, then you prance in here with bags."
"Yeah because I'm sleeping over, duh." Carter said removing the food and ingredients out of the grocery bags
"Uh uh. Who said all of that?" She asks with her hand on her hip
Carter sucked her teeth getting tired of her little attitude.
She had put the bottle of wine in the fridge before closing the door. She glanced up her before going over to the sink to wash her hands.
"Kirah."
"What?"
"Shut up." She said, "You know your sexy ass miss me so chill out and let's cook."
Kirah squinted her eyes at her before walking over to also wash her hands.
"Play some music and give me some kisses."
Kirah playfully rolled her eyes and reached up on her tippy toes to give Carter a few pecks.
"I apologize for not answering your calls and text earlier. I was planning some things out for you but the rain ruined those plans."
"Oh." She said frowning now feeling bad about her attitude
"What did you have planned?"
