7:30 ᴀ.ᴍ."Fix your face." Carter said glancing at Isaiah who was seated in the passenger seat
He had his arms crossed and his face was mugged up.
Yesterday was his first day at school since being suspended. His day back was good but it was the part when he tried talking to his basketball coach that had him upset.
He thought he would be able to just play again like nothing ever happened but he was wrong. Coach made him sit out for next five games which had him pissed.
And he wanted Carter to help and put in a good word for him to play but she wasn't. He has to learn the hard way that you can't always get what you want in life. Especially after being an ass in school.
"You fucked up, kid. Now you have to face the consequences." Carter said
He nodded taking in her words. Although he was stubborn he knew she was right.
"And at least he's letting you go to practice. If you show up and put in work then you might actually won't have to sit out all five game."
"Yeah I know." Isaiah said
A few minutes later she pulled up in front of the school building.
Isaiah hopped out of the Silverado truck "There's a game later on tonight, you coming?"
"I'll be there, what side you'll be on?"
"Left side, middle section of the bleachers."
Carter nodded "I gotchu. I'll send you a little something through Zelle for lunch."
He nodded and grinned "Thanks C."
"Mhm, I love you. Be good."
"I love you too, see you later."
"See ya." He said before closing the door
She watched him go all the way inside before pulling off and heading home.
Over this past weekend they were finally fully moved into their new home. Although she hired movers, she still had to decorate the house correctly.
But she got most of it done, the last part was her bedroom.
Isaiah was fine with his same bed set and room style but she wanted to switch hers up for once. So she's been ordering little things online and was going to go shopping today for other things for it.
Walking inside Ashley's furniture home store, Carter grabbed a basket and went around the store looking.
Walking down the tv stand aisle she stopped in front of a beautiful brown and white one. Bending down she checked out the price for 147 before standing up but accidentally bumping her elbow into someone.
"Oh shit, my bad." She quickly said turning seeing someone holding their head
The female groaned with her eyes closed "It's okay, I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going."
