ʙʀᴏᴏᴋʟʏɴ, ɴᴇᴡ ʏᴏʀᴋ"Damn it's hot out here." Carter mumbled squinting her eyes as she stepped out of the all black Tahoe truck
"Real talk." Durard chuckled dapping her as they met up towards each other
"How was your flight?"
"It was cool."
"Wifey wasn't on ya back?"
Carter chuckled at his choice of word for Kirah, "Nah, she cool."
"Cool as in she really cool or cool as in she don't know you out here doing some real gangsta shit?" He asked
She shook her head, "Cool as in let's get this shit started so I can get back to my kids."
He chuckled and nodded, "I gotchu. Come on."
She followed down the long driveway of the luxury home, passing a crew of security guards that stood standing at certain parts of the home.
Stepping inside of the home, she continued to follow him around the home until they reached a back hallway and down some steps that headed to a basement.
"He in there." He said pointing at a door
Carter bit her bottom lip before making her way in.
As she walked in, she kind of took a jump back at the smell that reeked of must and piss.
After letting the smell settle in, she walked around the tall linky man that was sitting in the chair.
Standing in the front, Carter was met face to face with Ishmail. His head was down and his eyes were closed as if he was sleeping.
She chuckled to herself lowly before grabbing a cold bottle of water and pouring it on his head.
It immediately woke him up out of his slumber.
"Yo- what the—
He had cut his sentence short whsn he looked up and saw Carter staring at him. Ishmail heart dropped seeing the one person he thought he killed almost a month ago.
She grinned, "Wake on up, homie."
"Listen—-
"No." She shook her head, "I'm not here to make amends."
"Carter—
"What did I just say?" She asked
"I—
"I-I-" she chuckled mocking him, "Pussy ass. You wasn't doing all this stuttering at that gas station."
She took a few steps towards him, "You thought you killed me huh?"
He slowly nodded his head
She grinned before sending her fist to his jaw, the hit being so hard that she even immediately heard a crack.
