Carter groaned as she gripped the sides of her bathroom toilet bowl. Luckily she just cleaned it yesterday because lord knows she wouldn't have had her hands near it if she didn't.

She wish she could say it was her breakfast or dinner that she was throwing up but it honestly was stress.

It may sound crazy but she knew that was most likely the reason for her feeling unwell and being sick.

She wasn't eating food that much, and liquor has consumed her body a few times the past few days but nothing to make her physically sick.

She felt like she was having deja vu for a moment because around this time five years ago she remember being stressed out, depressed, crying and throwing her guts up because Eva had just passed away.

And although Kirah wasn't gone out of her life in a death type of way, she still wasn't there with her or together.

But sadly, Carter has no one to blame for that one but herself.

A knock on the door startled her a bit especially because Isaiah was out shooting hoops with his friends.

"It's me, Carter." Milan voiced boomed outside of the bathroom door

Carter gagged a bit from the taste in her mouth before closing her eyes, "Not right now, Milan."

Milan frowned, "I just wanted to check on you? Do you want some water?"

"Mm-mm." She hummed feeling some more come from the back of her throat

"I-I just want to be left alone." She said, "Please." She practically begged and hoped she dropped what ever she was trying to do and left out of her home

Not only did she not want to be bothered but she was too weak to get up and unlock the door for her.

"I'm not doing that, Carter. I'm not going to leave you here sick." She responded

Hearing her words go through one ear and out the other, Carter felt her mouth water before throwing up some more.

That made Milan officially ignore her request to leave and pick the lock with one the keys that was hooked on her car keys chain.

She slowly walked inside the large bathroom and had turned the corner she saw Carter had her head in her hands.

Milan heels clicked against the marble floor until she reached Carter.

She frowned and grabbed a towel, she damped it with cool water before taking a seat next to her on the floor.

"Are you going to throw up on me?" She asked hesitantly

Carter got the strength to roll her eyes and suck her teeth, "No."

She threw her hands up, "I'm just making sure. Come here."

Carter flushed the toilet and put the seat down before scooting over to lay her head in her lap.

"You're burning up." Milan frowned tapping the back of her hand on her forehead
