"You okay?" Carter asked glancing through the mirror to see Kirah in the backseat playing with the twins in their car seats.
It's been a little over a week since their little trip in New York and so far things have been good. The twins have been good and the sex with Kirah has been great.
They were currently going to a little doctor's check up, it's been almost two months since the twins been born and they just wanted to make sure they were okay, along with Kirah.
"Yeah I'm okay." She said
Carter nodded focusing back on the street.
Ten minutes later they pulled up to the doctor's office. Carter turned the car off, got out and helped Kirah get the kids out.
Once they did, they made their way inside the building.
"Well it looks like everything is fine. The babies are healthy and so are you Kirah." Dr. Barrette said clapping as she smiled at the twins.
The one thing Kirah liked about her is that she always seemed so happy. Like she really enjoys her job. And Eveytime Kirah came to see her, she treated her like a patient but also comfortable like a friend.
She chuckled.
She ran tests and asked me questions. "Any concerns so far?"
"I have one," Carter said raising her hand like she was in school.
She laughed, "Yes ma'am."She said pointing to her
"Well Kirah and I both love to work out and lately we haven't much time to do so with the twins being here. But we plan on working on our schedule to get back into it."
"Okay."
"But Kirah loves doing weights so, we both kind of just want to make sure she's good to go back picking up heavy things especially after her scare during giving birth. I just really don't want scares. Healthy lives are the best." She chuckled
Dr. Barrette chuckled and nodded, "That is correct. But from her tests and health records, everything looks great. I do recommend starting off small just for the first few gym sessions and if things go good then move on up to where you're more comfortable at while doing weights." She said
"And you're not pregnant again so you don't have to worry about that or any scares on that part. I know earlier this year, Kirah came in and had a terminated pregnancy—
After that sentence came out of her mouth, Kirah's body completely froze, Dr. Barrette was the only one that knew about that until Alliyah who just found out in New York. But that's something she wanted to talk about alone with her alone— simply to tell not to say anything while Carter was around.
She didn't even want to look over at Carter. She knew exactly how she's was looking at her right now without even glancing at her.
Her eyebrows furrowed and a scowl across her lips. The death stare.
She told Carter everything...kinda.
