Carter placed the coffee drinks on the need stand next to the Kirah's bed.
Kirah was sleeping on her stomach with the covers over her head.
Carter chuckled because she knew she did that to block the sun out but she didn't really have to. Her room was pretty dark due to the curtains and the gloominess and the light rain from outside didn't many it any better.
Carter phone buzzed in her pocket making her reach for it and see it her best friend, Joseph aka Skepta.
She eased out of the bedroom and into the bathroom, making sure to put a small crack in the door before answering.
"Yo ass better have answered." Skepta says once the phone connects
Carter sucked her teeth "And if I didn't?"
"You were going to see." He said
Carter chuckled "Yeah alright, you back from London?"
Skepta had his own fashion line and stores. One store was in London which is where he's from, one in LA, and the other store was out here in Atlanta. He left and went to London for the last two weeks for his fashion show.
Every year, Carter usually goes with him but due to Isaiah being a badass and getting suspended that had kind of put her plans to go on hold. It was cool though, she knew eventually she would be going soon with him.
They always did little trips throughout the year.
"Yeah I'm back, what's the move?" He questioned
"Damn sure not the club if that's what you're asking." Carter said slightly scrunching her face up
He chuckled "Yeah I know that's not your thing."
"I'm happy you know but it doesn't matter to me." She said shrugging
Just then the bathroom door opened Carter seen Kirah leaning against the door frame entrance through the mirror. She just looked at Carter and headed to the toilet.
She didn't say anything, instead she just stood there which gave Carter the indication that she wanted her to get out and give her some privacy.
Carter chuckled to herself and nodded before walking out of the bedroom
"Let's grab something to eat later on tonight. I'll let Victor ass know. Actually let me add this man to the call." He said
