Funtime Foxy giggled, swaying as they watched Charlotte skitter around her apartment. It had been weeks and she still had them kept up in her tiny living area. Kept? No... cooped? Cooped.

Vixen no longer remembered sayings properly, and Hound never knew them, so the soul and AI were off on a whim. That doesn't stop them from saying them, much to Charlotte's chagrin.

The two, however, found this incredibly amusing... that is, until Charlotte joined in with the worst jokes known to humanity. Now, they had to suffer through them. And suffer they did.

Hound thought it was God making him pay for killing Vixen. Vixen, however, thought it was God punishing her for killing Mikey. Which led to an unrelated line of thought.

!-Do you ever wonder if Mikey survived the fire?-!

%-No. He surely did not, if even Emily left the mortal plane-%

!-That's just the thing, Hound, we don't know who went to rest and who hung around like us!-!

The two were startled out of their thoughts when Charlotte suddenly cursed, and quite loudly at that. They snuck over and peaked through to the kitchen, watching as Charlotte grabbed some bandaids and put them over her finger. They glanced at the slightly bloody knife beside her carrots and thought 'yep, she cut herself.'

"Charlotte, dear, do you need any help with that?" The head technician startled, whipping around to stare at them. Funtime Foxy did their best imitation of a smile, squinting at Charlotte. The human relaxed, waving them over.

They walked over, listening as Charlotte explained the stew and how thin she needed the carrots cut while she handled the broth. They wondered why she hadn't started the broth before-hand but mentally shrugged, nodding and starting the task with a genuine smile.

These past few days had been good.
