Jay smiled as she typed away on her keyboard, going with whatever she felt fit the story most. She had just turned twenty four a month ago, and scored a job writing books for fazbear entertainment about their mascots. It was amazing!

She even got to spend ample time with the animatronics to gauge their personalities, and she would get to hang out with Monty tomorrow! She hoped the other employees were accurate when describing his personality, or she would have to rewrite all the scenes with him in it.

This was why she hadn't started on his book for now, unlike Roxy and Chica's. For now, however, she stuck with Freddy's, happily typing away from a third person perspective. She winced as she heard the animatronics start barreling down the hall. Yikes.

She figured Roxy was playing with Foxy or Fiona again, maybe even Chica. What she didn't expect was Monty quickly hopping into her room and shutting the door behind him. He also clearly didn't expect to see her.

She shrunk into herself, listening to Roxy run down the hallway. She awkwardly smiled, waving a little. Monty blinked before relaxing, waving right back at her. He smiled, and she felt herself relax minutely.

"Ah' didn't expect ta' meet anyone new today. Who might you be?" He asked, walking a couple steps closer. She winced. He had a bad social etiquette, like her. This would be a dumpster fire.

"Ah, Jay Mills, recent hire for writing the stories about you and the gang. Nice to meet you, I'm your so-called handler for tomorrow." She stuck her hand out nervously. Monty smiled, taking her hand in a firm grip and shaking, before entering over her shoulder at her work

It unnerved her, having someone stare at her work. But that was why she had her anxiety medicine, so she didn't flip the fudge nuggets out. Otherwise she would likely have panic attacks daily, if it weren't for her lack of connection to her emotions. But she was getting better.

"Whas' the story 'bout?" She blinked up at him, before launching into an explanation of the plot.

"So, you know how all of you have different backstories, right? This is them. But with a twist!"

"Ooo! Tell me more."

"Alright, so, Freddy's backstory happens, yadda yadda, he becomes friends with the others, his is mostly brushed over and focuses on the now, where I find suitable lies for events."

"Events?"

"Yeah, like Bonnie. He gets sick, maybe cancer, and has to go to the hospital, so he retires until he gets better. Then you get hired onto the band. Then with Foxy, he has to move while they're still in high-school, and Roxy comes along around two months later."

"That sounds pretty good, actually." Jay gave a mock gasp of offense, playfully swatting at Monty's arm. She put a hand over her chest, staring up at the metal giant.

"You dare question my skill? I might not have gone to college, but I got this job fair and square!" Monty laughed a big, booming laugh and Jay winced, shoulders rising to her ears. She kept smiling, trying to downplay the effect the noise level had on her.

Of course, Monty noticed, and he opened his maw to say something. He didn't get the chance to finish, however, when Roxy burst into the room guns-a-blazing, shouting at Monty that hiding wasn't fair when he was already the second fastest of the group.

Monty grinned, shooting out of the door, past Roxy and down the hall. All Jay could think was, "Damn. She didn't lie, he's fast as fudge." And she wasn't exaggerating. Even though Roxy could easily out pace any human staff in the building, Monty was still faster. She thought one thing as she turned back to her work.

Tomorrow will be fun.
