Moon looked up at the refurbished daycare, head tilting. It was odd, standing in the light and not getting reverted into Sun. He stood beside his brother for once, instead of within him.
His head swiveled as he heard a door open, watching a black-and-white animatronic skitter into the daycare, holding giant boxes of snacks. She dropped them off at the snack shelf before whipping around to stare at them. She smiled, running over.
The jester-themed animatronic stopped in front of them, squealing. So, this was Eclipse, huh? He held out his hand, smiling genuine as she shook it with joy. The shorter animatronic looked like a kid in a candy store.
"Hihihihi!!! I'm Eclipse, ohmigosh you're Sun and Moon! I'm designed to add extra aid for disabled kids, oohh! It so nice to meet you!" Her voice gained an edge of static as she quelled again, hopping up and down as she rapidly shook hands with Sun next.
"Yes! Yes we are! Ooooohh! It's so nice to finally meet you Eclipse! I've heard so much about you from the others!" Sun chittered, smiling happily down at Eclipse. She squeaked out something incomprehensible before jumping up and hugging the two of them.
Moon paused, blinking, before wrapping his arms around his new sister. Sun happily wrapped his arms around both of them, laughing at the pure joy over the bond with Eclipse. The bond he was just now noticing.
He had one with Sun, where they subconsciously shared emotions and thoughts. Eclipse was filled with so much unfiltered joy that Moon couldn't help but share. He laughed, hugging her tighter.
Today was the best day of his life.
