Foxy snorted as Freddy fretted over Vanessa. The woman had tripped while on the night shift, clearly tired out of her mind. Gregory was beside her, wheezing with his friend Cassie. Freddy had been ecstatic to meet her, as was Foxy, but Gregory had been sick for a week. That ended up leading to their current situation.
Vanessa waved Freddy off as she stood, Gregory wiping tears out of his eyes as his shoulders shook with laughter. Cassie giggled evilly beside him, her Roxy sweatshirt quivering around her tiny body. Foxy let out a few snickers himself.
"Freddy, I'm Twenty-Three. I'll be fine. Tripping won't kill me." Freddy hesitated, but reluctantly left the woman alone. Gregory choked on another bout of laughter, and Cassie started sniggering again.
Vanessa dusted herself off as Freddy turned his attention to one wheezing Gregory. Cassie's laughter died down and Foxy pushed himself from his place leaning up against the wall. Cassie glanced this way briefly before focusing her attention on the others again.
Freddy exclaimed in surprise when Gregory finally got fed up with his mothering and dodged around the bear animatronic. Vanessa herself snorted, Gregory gasping and pointing at her before yelling something about Vanessa being a hypocrite.
Cassie giggled quietly. Freddy just sighed, and Foxy laughed to himself. Sure, he didn't talk with the others that much. But he liked to observe. Take notes. Make sure his family was safe.
That's what he did everyday. He watched. Sometimes he spoke, took part in things, but he was very content with the sidelines. He could take action when things went wrong, but for now? He was happy on the sidelines.
