"Ah! Hello. Ailsa, correct? Wonderful to finally meet you!" Freddy greeted. Ailsa smiled up at him. She knew he knew who she was.

"Correct! And you're obviously the big man himself. Glad to be here." Ailsa humored him. His eyes squinted as he smiled at her.

"Ah, now for the, ah, interview... more just us getting to know each other. Tomorrow you're trial period will begin! This will be my second trial period with someone." Ailsa's eyebrows shot up.

"Only one other person signed up?" She sounded surprised.

Freddy laughed, shaking his head. He sat down on his couch, gesturing for her to do the same. Ailsa sat down, confused. She leaned back on the new couch.

This one was a pale blue!

"No, but only one has made the interview. Unfortunately, Harvey wasn't able to adapt to the schedule and the children. Lovely man, however." Ailsa shifted in her seat, clearly more nervous at that fact.

"Then how do you know this will be your second?" She questioned. Freddy laughed.

"Simple! Mr. Smith wouldn't personally recommend you without reason! That aside, I can already tell you're a very caring person." Ailsa blushed, clearing her throat.

"Ahah, yes, ahm, I am truly sorry we couldn't meet earlier. I was busy every day I had off watching my cousins and nephews and niece. No one else could take them." Freddy nodded, ignoring the obvious change in subject. A bit easy to fluster, he noted as he moved on.

Mr. Smith had explained. One of those cousins was Henry Jr., Mr. Smith's son. It was good to know Ailsa had experience with children, even if just her cousins, and niece and nephews.

"I understand completely! Michael, our head of security, often has his younger brother with him. Around... a month or three back, I don't find it necessary to find a proper date, someone even thought he had kidnapped Evan! Quite the stir." Freddy laughed.

Ailsa laughed a bit, curiosity in her eyes. Learning spirit. She'll get along well with the other staff members. Freddy noted happily. She could be a good addition to the team.

"Now, to the mandatory questions..."

"Ailsa?" The confused voice surprised the bear and the woman. Freddy turned to see Madiline, very obviously confused, brown eyes sparked with a bit of concern.

"Oh! Maddie. I forgot to tell you... I'm, uh, interviewing to be Freddy's handler! Surprise?" Ailsa smiled, a bit awkwardly. Freddy looked between them curiously.

"You know each other?" He questioned.

Madiline blinked, as if only just now realizing he was here, before nodding. She gave Ailsa a flat look as she spoke.

"She's my new roommate. And I would've driven her if she told me she was interviewing where I worked." Madiline placed a hand on her hip, exasperated. Ailsa snorted, relaxing.

"Yeah, yeah. I took a cab." Madiline's eyebrows shot up.

"In this economy!?" She exclaimed, before they both broke into a fit of laughter. Freddy smiled.

Yes, she would fit in very well.
