Cassie was almost buzzing as she waited in the party room. Her dad wasn't there, he was working, but he would be back in a few minutes. Instead, Gregory and an incredibly fidgety Vanessa were with her.

Suddenly, the door burst open and a grinning Lad're was in the room. His sister, Darien, hesitantly followed him. In their arms were gifts.

"Cass! Rory! We made it!" Lad're laughed happily. He bounced over to the presents table, carefully putting the gifts in his arms down. Darien awkwardly did the same.

Lad're was the kind of kid everyone loved and no one could hate. He brought everyone together, and he was super popular. Cassie smiled.

"Hi Lad're!" She said happily. Gregory had introduced them a few weeks ago, and they had become friends quick. Darien tended to follow them around like a lost puppy, and she wasn't sure if she was the eldest or he was.

Lad're grinned and nearly knocked her and Gregory over as he hugged them, much to Vanessa's surprise. She could hear the woman stumbling and the noise of distress she made.

Darien hung back, exuding nervousness and awkwardness. Lad're casually tugged her over to the table. Gregory grinned at them, rocking on the balls of his feat.

"I'm glad you guys could make it!" She chattered happily. "I wasn't really sure if you would come." She admitted shyly. She didn't have many friends.

"Of course we would! I wouldn't miss this for the world!" Lad're spoke, exuding happiness. Darien nodded seriously in agreement.

Cassie laughed. Gregory snorted beside her, walking up to Lad're to give him a fist bump. Lad're obliged happily. Darien smiled behind him.

The door creaked open again, much to Cassie's surprise. She turned to the door, eyes wide. In the door, Brently stood nervously. She wasn't friends with the girl by any means, but unpopular knew unpopular. She smiled, waving her over. Brently smiled shyly at her.

The green-haired girl sat her present on the table gently. She walked over to them, brown eyes wide. She looked like a kicked puppy, in a way. Gregory smiled at her with his sharp, "I'm a menace" smile.

Lad're offered his hand for a fistbump, which Brently took. Brently was in the grade above them. Darien pulled her into a hug. Cassie blinked, but ignored it. It was their business, after all.

The door to their left slammed open, and Roxy came out alongside Bonnie. Cassie smiled brightly at the sight. But that wasn't all. Fiona and Foxy popped out from behind them. Gregory cackled and the other three gasped.

"Who's ready for a triple booked birthday party!?" Roxy shouted. Cassie grinned so much her cheeks hurt.
