WHAT'S THIS? HINTS AT THE FUTURE?

Dan Logan was not an extroverted man by any means. Not by his town's standards, at least. All his town was about was partying, having fun, and doing... it.

So, he was a bit odd for his town. An ambivert who just so happened to be asexual. It made his life a whole lot harder. No one would accept it,  just saying "Oh, you haven't found the right person!" "Oh, you're just a late bloomer!" "Oh, you just haven't done the right things yet!"

So, yeah. He had difficulties with that stuff. But then he met Charlotte. She didn't care one singular bit. She stayed his friend through and through, saved his life a couple times. When thing got rough for her, he was there as much as he possibly could be. He would do it again in a heartbeat.

But now he was drowning in work. Don't get him wrong, he was so incredibly grateful Charlotte got him his job, but dear God. This was just getting ridiculous. The new animatronic was going through the tests, and there was talk of even more new animatronics.

Which, leading back to his original point, would mean he needed to open up his circle for even more new animatronics. He really couldn't take much more. Eclipse, Fiona, and Ballora were hard enough, not to mention the new hires. He couldn't keep up with any more hooligans.

But apparently he had to. At least Ballora was polite... she had been nothing short of formal, in fact. It was almost worrying. Almost. Some animatronics had such things drilled deep into their hard drives, like Freddy. Sometimes he was painfully formal and polite.

Others, like Roxy, Foxy, and Monty had no qualms with speaking their opinion. They were loud and disruptive but somehow also thoughtful and kind. Chica was somewhere in between, alongside Sun and Eclipse. Moon was either an absolute menace or a loving caretaker. No in between. DJ was nice, but only Nia and Eclipse could really understand what he meant.

Then the New hires, like Jamilla and Madiline were complete opposites. Jamilla was the perfect description of traumatized people-pleaser. She had meds she took everyday, so either depression or anxiety most likely. Madiline was loud and had behavioral problems, but was overall a good person. She was fun to be around, especially if you wanted to get competitive.

Madiline was his third favorite employee, right after Charlotte and Nia. Nia simply had an infectious kind of happiness that didn't leave you four hours after you hung out. He never really got to know Jamilla, so she was just another background person in his mind. He knew Madiline was salty about her getting the higher position, however.

He shook himself out of his thoughts once again. Right, he was looking over other possible animatronics. There were many requests for the Puppet or the Marionette. Also other long-forgotten animatronics like Mangle, AKA Toy Foxy. Circus Baby was popular, but barely less than Spring Bonnie and Fredbear. Springtrap from the Fazbear Frights location. There were also many people pushing for a new original animatronic as well.

He hummed, but ultimately decided to hold off on any official decisions until he could ask Charlotte in person. Maybe he could talk to the others about it as well. Madiline would want to know so he could get a jump start on the short stories, same with Jamilla. She would need to change her plot to open up the new character or characters.

Oh, the joys of animatronics! What was that? Karens? Ah, shoot.Where stories live. Discover now
