Training is a somewhat foreign word to you. Of course, it's not like you don't do it – after all, you would have to do it to get strong and maintain that strength. And it's not like you're as strong as the three the rest of the crew had dubbed the 'Monster Trio,' but you're still able to hold your own in a fight. Mostly. But a mishap in a recent battle that had highlighted that 'mostly' in neon yellow is what has you climbing up the crow's nest to meet Zoro for some evening training. After having to be saved by him from almost being skewered like a kabob, he'd insisted that you train with him. Having reached the top, you walk in, finding Zoro doing some stretches. He had already discarded his shirt, and you can't deny his muscles are impressive. Maybe it won't be so bad after all.

"Y/N," he says, continuing his stretching. "What are you doing still standing there? Get ready. I won't go easy on you."

You quickly jump into action, starting to stretch as well. After a little bit, Zoro stops and walks over to you. "Now,' he says. "Throw me a punch."

You blink in surprise, thrown by the simplicity of the command.

"You have to start with the basics," he explains almost reluctantly. You curl your fingers into a fist and throw a punch. "Well, at least your form is correct," he mutters. "But the real key to a basic punch is..."

And like that, he goes on, teaching you the basics of hand-to-hand combat. Despite your previous conception, Zoro is actually a pretty good teacher, patient and prodding you in the right direction when necessary. You've always wanted an excuse to spend some alone time with Zoro – after all, you feel deeply for the green-haired swordsman – but you've never known exactly how to go about that. He isn't the easiest to talk to. But you often notice how he seems to listen to you a little more, to respond and engage a little more with you than with the rest of the crew. You aren't sure what it means, but it sure feels like a sign. Soon, your session ends with you sparring with Zoro using the skills he's taught you. After the few hours the two of you have been there, sweat glistens on his toned muscles, and you pant as well. Your skin is flushed, and not just from the exertion. You can't help but stare at his chest, and it doesn't take him long to catch on.

"See something you like, hmm?" He grins, and your eyes shoot to his as you blush madly. "W-well..." you stutter, unsure of how to defend yourself. He's just so attractive. He strolls towards you and puts a hand on your waist, tugging you close until you can feel the heat radiating off his skin. You look up at him, eyes wide, and he still smirks at you, enjoying every second of your being flustered. "Well, maybe," he murmurs, leaning closer until his lips are a breath away from yours, "I see something I like too." And with that he kisses you, a hand coming up to cup your cheek. You kiss him back, desire overriding your shock. After what feels like an eternity you break apart, his breath ragged as he looks at you. Then he releases you, and ignoring your disappointed look with a wicked smile he walks towards the ladder. "Night, Y/N."

You scowl as he leaves. Stupid moss head.
