"Don't get your hopes too high Ms.Deshmukh, my assistant arranged it", he spat.

"Oh, common now stop lying. Why will your assistant plan a romantic dinner with red roses instead of a formal one?", I stated sarcastically.

I gasped dramatically as my eyes widened in fake-surprise.

"Unless this is your regular routine with different women", I looked at him with utter disgust.

"I never told you it's a formal dinner. She arranged it for an important event", he hissed grinding his teeth in annoyance.

"What is the event", I furrowed my brows in confusion.

"Now if you will permit me, I will be honored to escort my date".

He extended his right hand towards me as his eyes glittered with mirth as the waiters approached us with food.

"I'm not your date", I hissed extending my hands to avoid gaining unwanted attention.
