Grandma said, "Will you marry my son?"

While grandma asked Jason was fully confident and Roger and Jason had made a bet of a hundred dollars.

Ella replied, "Grandma, you've always been close to me and I think whatever you think for me would be a benefit for me. So, it's a yes. I'm willing to marry your son."

Hearing this, everyone was surprised. There was a pin drop of silence for a second. Everyone was happy with her decision except Jason. They were cheered and shouted. Ella's mom and dad ran and hugged her. Grandma's happiness was all in her smile.

Jason was so much angry as his confidence was all broken and he lost the bet.

While Roger was happy for her. He was laughing. He can't stop his laugh as Jason loses the bet, "Hahahaha...., How you're feeling bro? You are going to marry your childhood friend. Congo but I want a party. Okay, mate? Hahahaha...."

By saying this, Roger was pulling his leg and fun of him.

Jason was so upset as he lost a huge amount.

After the lunch was over, Jason found a way can be alone with Ella. He pulled Ella's hand and took her to his room.

There was Ella, Roger and Jason in there. Jason said in an angry tone, "How can you do this? Didn't I tell you that I love someone else? What do you want, hah? Roger, now I think that Keris was right. She doesn't have humanity. She is only selfish."

Ella replied, "Are you in your senses? What are you saying? Why I would be selfish? Tell me. What is it? Why I would come here in this family, what's my profit here?"

Jason replied, "By marrying me, you'll get a chance to be part of our empire and being as a tie, you'll take the company."

Ella by not saying anything went out of the room and came back but with a file.

Ella offered the file to Jason.

Jason asked, "What's this?"

Ella replied, "A contract! It's between you and me. It says that we'll stay married for a year. After the contract, we'll be on our different roads... Between the period of the contract, you can be with your girlfriend. Even at home, I don't care. It also includes who and when will sleep on the bed or sofa. If you agree with this, you can sign this and for knowledge, I think you know how to read English..."

Jason said, "But, why do we need to do this? You simply say no and we don't have to do anything."

Ella answered his question, "This is all because you challenged me that I'll ruin the life of the man I'll marry. So, I'll marry you and see whether I can ruin someone's life or not..."

Jason, "But why me..."

Jason shouted, "You..." By saying this, he snatched the file from her. Read it and signed the contract.

While handing the file over to her, "You broke my trust. Try to ruin my life. Let's see, how long you'll be happy..."

Ella smiled and took the file from Jason by offering a hand for a handshake, "Challenge Excepted!". They shook their hands...

Suddenly, Ella and Jason's phone buzzed together. They picked up the phone at the same sec and went out of the room in two different directions...

Roger was confused to see both of them and he also left the room

On Jason's phone,

A message from person X, "Meeting has been scheduled to tomorrow morning."

On Ella's phone,

It was a phone call, "They are coming. Be ready!"

The phone gets hung up.

After this, they both went where the family was settled. All were enjoying the moment and suddenly,

Grandma said, "Let's fix the date of their marriage. How's next month?"

Jason's mother said, "Yeah, we can do this."

But then, Ella's mother interrupted and said, "But, don't you think that it's too early? Shouldn't we wait for some time? Let the two of them know each other."

Grandma replied, "I understand your concern. But they both agreed to get married and they've been knowing them since childhood. So, why wait?"

After a long yet important conversation, all agreed to Grandma. The marriage was set for the tenth of next month.

"If anyone doesn't have a problem then, can I say something?" Ella respectfully asked.

Jason's father replied, "Sure, sure. You're always allowed to speak."

Ella smiled and said, "Grandma, I've always respected your decision and I promise that the future will go on like this. But, about the 'Melvia Group & Corporations' (Company of Matthews, this company is of tech. All the techs used daily has been made in this company.), I'll not be able to work there. I wish to work for the company which my parents built. Dad won't be able to handle it alone. I'll work there, build it up more and when it is all set, can I come here where and what you wanted?"

Grandma said with straight words but yet with a sweet voice, "I wanted you to work here and be a part of our group but if you want this, it's okay. You can come whenever you're comfortable."

Jason's phone started buzzing. When he opened it, it said, "On the 10th of next month"

Jason and Ella's marriage was on the same day as Jason's mission day...
