                                    Chapter 14:  Who is Rose?

"Why is she here?" Rory whispered to Jason. They sat in the backseat of the car while Rose sat beside the driver in the front seat.

Jason whispered back, "How would I know? Ask Grandma about it."

"Shut up!" Rory shouted in anger and frustration.

Hearing this, Rose and the driver looked at them through the rearview mirror. It was an awkward situation for Rory, which made her apologize.

When they reached the office, Rose went with Mr. Frank, and Rory and Jason went to his cabin.

Jason had the same aura as Ella in his office. Every employee was thankful to him for doing great things for the company and for them as well.

There were only Rory and Jason in the cabin. Rory said, "It's 10:45 now. We still have fifteen minutes left."

Jason pulled Rory towards him, held her, and asked, "Do you want to know what I'll do in these fifteen minutes, huh?" After saying this, he romantically caressed Rory's hair.

Rory replied in a serious tone, "It's work time, Jason. Let's save these things for my house. How many times do I have to tell you? I'm your assistant here, not your girlfriend."

As she was speaking, Jason placed his hand over Rory's mouth to make her stop talking and said, "See, I won't go to the meeting without kissing you."

Rory pulled his hand away from her mouth and declared, "And I won't let you kiss me."

Confidently, Jason said, "Challenge accepted." After saying this, he held her tightly so that she couldn't escape and tried to kiss her. Just as he was about to get close to her, someone knocked on the door. Hearing this, they both quickly moved away from each other and Jason went to sit at his desk. Mr. Frank entered through the door and said, "My apologies if I disturbed you."

Rory replied, "Not at all."

Mr. Frank said, "I've come to talk about Rose."

Jason replied, "Tell me."

Mr. Frank answered, "Right now, she's working with me but in a few days, she'll be transferred here. Since she's new, I'll try to teach her everything I can. Grandma told me to keep an eye on you. Please don't reject this girl. She has a lot of expectations from you."

Annoyed, Jason replied, "Mr. Frank, I already told you that I appreciate Rory's work. I don't know why she wants to replace her so badly."

Mr. Frank replied, "You already know the reason."

Meanwhile, in Ella's cabin...

Exo entered the cabin holding a picture and some papers.

He said, "Ma'am, I brought what you needed." And he handed the papers to Ella.

Ella took them from his hand and started looking through them. She found that Mr. Drave Root was written next to her father's name on those papers.

Watching this, she felt relieved as her father's name was mentioned as Mr. David by Grandma and she didn't ask for the picture.

"What a relief," said Ella. "You can go now, Exo." And she left Rohini and Ella alone in the cabin.

Rohini was frustrated and said, "Come on Ella. I can't take this suspense anymore."

Ella replied, "Then suffer. I told you I'm going to tell you soon."

Rohini said, "Okay, but what about this Rose?"

Ella replied, "Don't worry, this isn't the same Rose who caused my marriage."

Rohini asked, "I know you didn't bring me here just to show me the workplace. Tell me. What is it?"

Ella replied, "You guessed it right again. I just wanted to spend time with you."

Rohini replied, "Not this time. I have an appointment with the landowner. This is your punishment for not telling me the secret."

Ella laughed and said, "Okay, go ahead. But wait, let me inform Exo first."

Ella went to her desk where a landline phone was placed. She dialed the number seven button and it connected her to Exo. "Exo, tell Mr. Dong to get ready with the car and send Rohini home."

Exo replied, "Okay ma'am. I've also received a presentation from a company. May I come and share this presentation and their ideas with you?"

Ella replied, "Okay," and then she hung up the call.

"Let me take you to the parking lot," said Ella to Rohini.

Rohini raised her hand and said, "No need. I'll walk on my own two feet."

"Are you sure?" asked Ella.

"Of course," replied Rohini. After saying this, Rohini left the cabin, and after some time, while Ella was standing there, she suddenly started to feel drowsy. Ella fell onto the floor.
