Chapter 27: Sane at Hospital

It was around half past in the morning, and a maid from Ella's house said, "What? Where is she right now?" She spoke with surprise. She hung up the call. Her voice stunned Jason, so he asked, "What happened?"

"Mom had a heart attack," Ella replied.

Ella and Jason rushed towards the hospital where Sane was admitted. They found from the reception that Sane was under an operation. So they ran to the OT room. They found that Keris and Jacob, who just arrived from Mexico. Jacob was sitting on a chair, whereas Keris was walking to and fro around the corridor.

"How is mom?" Ella asked.

"Doctor didn't say anything till now," Keris replied.

"Were you at your house?" Ella asked.

"Yes," Keris answered.

Sane condition made Ella's heart burdened. She was stressed. Her face couldn't show but deep inside she was hurt. Anything too much was very harmful to her health. If she takes more stress, her condition gets worse.

Time was passed like a heavy storm. Every minute when someone comes out of the operating theater, everyone breathes to get hopes but there wasn't any improvement in Sane. It took a long time. From half past, it became five in the morning. Time was passing but there wasn't any news of Sane. Ella was standing, resting her back on the wall of the corridor, Jacob was sitting in front of her on a chair and Keris was sitting beside him.

Ella was tired. She closed her eyes to stay calm and get away from stress. Where Jason came and stood beside her. She held her hand and locked his fingers into hers. Ella felt someone touching her. She opened her eyes. 

"I think you should eat something," Jason said. He offered a brown packet to her.

"I don't feel like eating," Ella replied.

"Please. For me?" Jason requested in a melting voice.

"I don't care Jason. I'm really stressed right now. I only know how I'm controlling myself. I can't eat. Please don't force me, Jason," Ella said.

Jason took out a water bottle from that bag and offered it to Ella, "Water will help you cool down."

"Thanks," Ella replied. Ella took that bottle from him and gulped the whole bottle in one go. Looking at that, Jason realized how thirsty she was.

"Please stay with me. Please," Ella requested Jason.

"I'm here for your life," Jason calmly said. Ella was surprised to hear Jason. She looked at him but suddenly the doctor came out of the Operation Theater. Everybody ran towards him.

"The operation was successful but god knows how many days she'll make," The Doctor replied.

"Are you saying that she'll not make it?" Jacob asked.

"Unfortunately, Yes. Did she take her medicines on time?" The Doctor asked.

"I informed her on the call to take," Ella replied.

"Wasn't there anyone in the house?" The Doctor asked.

"The maids were but only the family members knew about her condition," Keris replied.

"You all know that she needs personal attention on her health. She wasn't taking her medicine for a long time," The Doctor replied.

"What?" Ella was surprised to hear that.
