Chapter 35: A New Plan

*******************************

Meanwhile, Rose entered the house the weight of the grocery bags pulling at her arms. She went to the kitchen to keep the groceries. The kitchen was usually a welcoming space, but today it felt different. A chill ran down her spine as she noticed the crimson stains splattered across the platform and floor. Her heart raced when she saw the bloodied knife lying ominously on the ground, surrounded by forceps and bandages. The first-aid box was lying like a dead body.

Fear gripped her, and the shopping bags slipped from her fingers, scattering items across the floor. After some looking, she found some blood stains that led to Keri's room. She took a sharp knife from the kitchen cabinet and followed those blood stains. The echo of her footsteps filling the tense silence.

After some time of walking she entered Keris secret room.

"Keris!" Her voice trembled with surprise. Keri and Ella turned their attention to Rose, shock written across their faces.

"What are you doing here?" Keris asked by walking towards her where Ella was still sitting on the chair.

"I got an early pack up but first tell me whose blood is it? Did you fight with someone again?" She asked.

"It's mine," Ella intruded. "It was hard to bandage with one hand."

"Show me. Let me help you out," Rose said and went closer to her when she looked at her wound her foot touched at base of the chair and then suddenly sound of siren with a full volume started coming. It was earsplitting and unbearable.

"What's this?" Ella shouted loudly but was hardly audible.

"How to stop this?" Rose asked shouting.

"You have to get out, Rose," Jason replied shouting.

With urgency, Rose grabbed Ella's hand, helping her rise from the chair. They made their way to Jason's bedroom, where Ella sank onto the couch while Rose settled at the table before her.

Rose pulled out a kit containing various threads and instruments. She examined Ella's wound closely, selecting a precise thread that would suit the injury. With steady hands, she stitched together the muscle tissue like a skilled doctor and completed the dressing with cotton and bandages.

"All done! Take this medicine once in the morning and once at night; you'll be back to normal in no time," Rose assured Ella as she handed over a plate of capsules.

Ella looked at Keris who was cleaning the Ella's blood with mop, "Keris, just marry her early. We really need a family doctor like her."

Listening to that, Jason kept that mop side balancing it with the wall and came and sat beside Rose, "Do you think she's your servant?"

"Nope. I just want you to be happy," Ella replied taking the conversation into another direction.

"Let's first solve your Victor case," Keris replied. "What you'll do now? He must be knowing you're here at my house."

"He who?" Rose asked.

"Exo," Ella replied. "Give me your phone," she asked Keris.

"What you'll say to him?" Keris asked.

"My phone is broken. You know what to do," Ella said.

Keris ran to the living room, took her phone and threw it out from the balcony. The phone travelled for at least for three floors with a great speed and then finally fall down smashing onto the ground below—a cracked screen staring up at them like a lifeless body.
