Chapter 9: The Challenge

"In this world, there are a lot of things which seem confusing to you but you accept it 'cause it's been said. But sometimes it breaks your head. This place has been full of secrets and suspense. Let's see how Jason will face this..." Ella was thinking this in her mind and suddenly,

"She can't be here.", said Jason.

The senior asked, "Why? What's the problem?"

Jason replied in an angry tone, "I saw her there at the mission fighting for the opponents."

The senior replied, "No. This isn't possible. She's always with us. You might be mistaken."

Jason denied. He was stuck to say that It was Ella only who was there for that mission. The senior explained to Jason and made him understand that it wasn't her...

After this, the senior left by informing them that the next mission was after five weeks...

Ella said, "Let's rest for today. There has been a lot of disturbance today. I think you all need some time to accept me as your senior. You can do your things now. This will be the place for our planning and training. Let's meet tomorrow at the same time."

Everyone left the headquarters. There was only Rory, Sam, Jason and Ella left.

Rory and Jason were talking with each other. "Don't worry about this. Things will change with time." Said Rory.

Jason replied, "I am sorry Rory. I married her when I love you and you gonna see us working together. It's all because of me. I would have killed her there only."

Rory replied, "Don't think too much. What if you are mistaken? Don't worry I know you love me. Nothing will change between us because of her."

Jason smiled, "Now you should go home. Tell me if you need anything. Okay!"

With a sweet conversation, Rory left.

Meanwhile, Ella was looking around the place. Sam came just beside Ella.

Sam said, "Jason and Rory love each other."

Ella confusingly asked, "What do you mean?"

Sam turned and looked at Ella and said, "I know you're Jason's wife. Because of you and your family, Jason has suffered a lot. He even had to leave his house."

Ella was surprised. She asked, "How do you know this?"

Sam replied, "I was with him in his high school we joined together here. I request you, please don't come between them..."

Meanwhile, Jason shouted, "Sam! Will you please take Rory her home?"

Sam replied, "Coming."

Rory and Sam left that place. There was only Ella and Jason left.

Ella was confused and didn't know what Sam said and then suddenly,

Jason said, "Don't think that I mistook you."

Ella asked as she wasn't attentive, "What?"

Jason replied, "It doesn't mean that if people explained to me that you weren't there, I would accept it. I'll not sit silent until I find you guilty."

Ella asked, "And why is that?"

Jason replied, "You can take it as a challenge. Don't think that your words will affect my intentions."

After saying this, Jason turned and left to go to his house, Ella replied, "Okay! Do whatever you want. But don't forget that I'm your senior here. Not your contract wife.Behaviorr and respect matter to me here."

Jason didn't say anything and left.

Jason and Ella reached home at different times. After coming, Jason went upstairs.

But Ella was downstairs talking to someone on the phone. Suddenly, she heard a voice of the breaking of something glass. It was from Jason's parent's room.

The room wasn't locked. Ella opened the door slightly, and she found Jason's mother and a man same as the age Jason's mother. They were talking about something.

Jason's mother said, "Are you mad? What if anyone listens?"

The man warned and said, "Today, I just broke this glass." He then came close to Jason's mother and shouted, "If you'll not give what I've asked for, be ready to see your family die!"

He then walked to leave the house. After seeing this, Ella hurried and hid beside the pillar which was beside the door of the room. So that the man couldn't see her.

Then she again looked at Jason's mother, and she found that she was crying.
She thought, not to disturb her, and went to her room.

The next day...

Jason and Ella were together discussing something.

Ella said, "I'll just be back from the washroom"

While she left, Jason started to search in her backpack. But he didn't find anything which could prove her guilty.

Ella came and caught Jason searching...
