Chapter 8: The Reality

When Jason said this, everyone was shocked. They stopped him as he came home a few hours ago.

Jason's father said, "Are you in your senses?"

They even warned him to not go. When he asked why, he said, "It is an urgent matter with Roger."

Jason's mother asked, "And, what is this matter?"

Jason replied, "He didn't tell me that. It is written that it is urgent."

His mother replied, "Then, tell him to discuss this urgent matter here."

Jason bagged, "Mom, try to understand..."

Grandma in a higher pitch said, "Jason, you'll not go anywhere. If you want privacy, we'll all go out. You and Roger can have your privacy."

After hearing this, What Jason could do? He agreed to what Grandma said.

He called Roger so that everyone could go out. Roger came in.

When everyone left, he went out.

He was in his uniform all set up to go out.

Roger asked, "What's this?"

Jason replied, "Will you please handle this? I'll be back in around two hours. It can be more."

Roger arrogantly said, "What more? I'm not going to do this. Not this time. Wherever you go, you don't even tell me and I have to handle your family. You know how your family is?"

Jason said, "Please, this time..."

After a lot of argument, he agreed.

Roger asked, "Okay, but where are you going?"

Jason was having a helpless face.

Roger understood what he was trying to say and said, "Yea, Yeah. You can't tell me. Okay go but this is last time."

Jason was happy. He hugged him and said, "You are my best friend. Okay bye."

Roger, "Hmm. When there's work, you are my best friend and when there is no work you are my worst friend."

Jason ran to the balcony as he was late. He jumped on the ground.

"Aah" came from his mouth as his leg was injured. Someone heard his voice and came out. Before anyone could see, he ran away.

He ran and went to the backside of a famous café in the city. At its backside, there was a house where no one lived for years. Its situation was like that no one could wish to go in.

He went into that house. There was a bathroom in the last room on the ground floor. He went there. Removed the tiles and there was a bid black color lid. He opened it.

There was a leader who could take to the underground. He went down and there was a room having at least eight people. Rory was also present there. He went and hugged her.

All the way he was running and walking with his hand on his injury.

.. Everyone asked for his leg. They were joking and laughing.

A gunshot wound wasn't new for him. So, he wasn't feeling that much pain.

This was their place for emergencies and urgent meetings. This wasn't their workplace.

While they were talking, His senior, entered the room.

He came in and said, "Today I'm going to introduce you to someone. She is the one who gave us all the information about Victor Deadborn. She risked her life every time to find out his information. She will be your new team leader. It's Ellamon Strong."

Nobody there knew about her except Sam and Rory. All knew that Rory was his girlfriend. Sam was an agent there, a junior of Jason. He was kind of close to Jason.

Jason was shocked to see her. It was Ella. She came and stood near to the senior.

Ella said confidently, "My name is Ellamon Strong. You can call me Ella. I'll be your new teammate in your new mission. I and Mr. Jason will work together to plan the upcoming mission and with your all hard work and support, I hope we will succeed in this mission."
