It All Starts With a Lie

A Question

Chapter 12: A Question.

Rohini said, "You are not the one I knew."

Ella replied, "You were the only one who was there with me even when my family wasn't with me. You're the only one who knows me the most."

Rohini said, "You think that I know you the most?"

Ella replied confidently, "YES!"

Rohini said, "If I know you the most, answer me in yes or no. You'll never ruin your life for anyone who doesn't care about you. Yes or no?"

Ella replied, "Yes."

Rohini said, "Then why did you marry him?"

Ella replied, "Rohn!..."

Suddenly, the door creaked. Jason opened the door and came into the room. 

He walked to Ella. he was so close to Ella. It was a distance of about only the width of a finger. Due to this, Ella took a step back.  Jason took a step forward. This continued until Ella collided with a wall.

As Jason was so close to her, Ella tried to escape from the side but Jason stopped her and put his hands on the wall and blocked Ella's way.

As there was no option to escape, Ella asked, "What do you want?"

Jason said, "How dare you ruin my morning?"

Ella confusingly said, "What? This is the question I should ask. You're ruining my morning by behaving like this."

Jason shouted, "Tell me. Tell me!"

Ella shouted, "What?"

Jason asked, "You don't know?"

Ella replied, "No!"

Jason asked, "Who made the pasta today?"

Ella replied, "Mom."

Jason pulled her closer pressed her stitches on her abdomen and shouted, "No. Mom didn't make it."

Ella couldn't bear the pain enough. So, she kicked at Jason's gunshot wound on his leg and because of the pain, he was flattered, he stopped pressing the wound of Ella and took two steps back.

Ella shouted, "If you wanna make things, it's not my fault."

Hearing this, Rohini closed the door so that no one could listen to their conversation and said, "Will you two stop shouting? Hey Jason! Does pasta matter this much to you? Who made it, it doesn't matter. At least it was good in taste."

Jason looked at Rohini and said, "It matters to me who made it. It matters a lot that who served it and who ate it with me."

Rohini replied, "What? I think you've changed."

Ella turned her face to Rohini and said, "I told you Rohn, (Then she moved her face back to Jason who was looking at Rohini) he is not what we expected, what he was before."

Jason turned back to Ella and replied, "I know that Mom didn't make it because it wasn't the taste of my regular pasta."

Ella replied, "Ishh. How can pasta, be this much important in your life? If you are not happy with this one, you'll get it again next Sunday."

Jason asked, "This means you made it. Tell me. Tell me! You made it? Why?"

Jason was speaking so loudly and wasn't allowing her to speak.

She was frustrated, and shouted, "Mom was hurt!"

She calmed herself and continued, "She got a cut on her hands and I requested her to let me make the rest and you saw me making it."

Jason asked, "Why did you hide this from everyone? Why did you lie?"

Ella replied, "Because...."

While she was speaking, suddenly the door knocked and Rory entered. Rory spoke to Jason, "Sir, as you wanted, I've arranged the meeting at 11 am. It's already 10:30. I think we should leave."

Hearing this, Ella told Rohini while looking at Jason, "Rohn, let's go. I want to show you my workplace."

After saying this Ella went off from the room. While walking out, she called Exo(Her assistant), "Hey! Exo. No need to come here. I'm on my way to the office."

While she went out, Rohini said like a philosopher, "Jason. Don't do this. You both have to be together. Even if it's for a year, try to have a peaceful and happy marriage. Think about when you were best friends." And she also went down.

After Rohini, Jason and Rory also went down.

When they all came down. Grandma came and said, "Wait for a while. We have someone for you all to meet with."

After a while, a girl entered the house. She had long hair with beautiful layers. Her outfit was making her more charming. She was wearing a shirt, pants, and an overcoat resembling chic fashion. She was the main attraction of the room.

Suddenly in confusion, Rory says, "Rose!"
