Chapter 31: Their Fight

*********************************

Everyone lies. Some lie to hide secrets, some for love, or even sometimes for truth. Lying can be profitable sometimes but be careful! This house is an expert in lying and, LOVE. Well, it depends on whether it's an act or reality.

Days went and Ella and Jason grew closer to each other. They woke up looking at each other's faces, ate breakfast together, said goodbye before going to their workplaces, and always looked for each other before dinner. Both always made sure that everything was on each other's plate.

Sometimes, Jason used to serve water for her whereas sometimes Ella used to refill his favorite part of the dinner.

Their day it was used to end with just saying goodnight. Although they used to sleep separately, still they ended up with a good night kiss and some coffee talk.

Ella like a perfect wife, used to always take care that he was always with his things whereas Jason always took care of her health. They used to always discuss one another problems, and how their day went. They seem perfect for each other. The love between them can be proved but were they accepting it? The love?

One evening after dinner, while Ella was busy with someone on call in the living room, Jason already went to their room. After talking, she made coffee for both of them and went to the room. When she opened the door and entered the room, she found everything dark but some candles burning on the table. She found Jason sitting on one of its chairs and went and sat across him. She kept the tray of coffee mugs in the middle.

"What is this now?" Ella chuckled with happiness.

"Darkness," Jason replied with his deepest voice ever.

"What?" Ella asked with surprise.

Jason chuckled, "Look how the darkness is getting beautiful because of these candles,"

"Oh that, yeah," Ella replied.

"Has your life ever been to darkness like this?" Jason asked. He leaned back and rested his back on the chair.

"Yeah but handled myself, stood up, and solved those problems that caused this darkness," Ella replied.

"Wow," Jason replied without expression. He seemed different today but the next second, he rested his right elbow on the table with a rose in his hands.

Ella was surprised to see that as Jason was like this for the first time. She took the rose from his hands and said, "Thank....Aah," She shouted in pain as one of the thorns on that rose pierced her skin.

Jason looked at her and chuckled. He brought a file from somewhere and threw it on the table. He pushed it and it slid towards her, "My love, let's drop this act now,"

When she looked at it, she found that it was her file from the hospital. Everything trembled. It was a thunderclap to her when she saw that file. Her secret was out, she was confused about what to say. Jason stood up from his chair and walked to her while saying, "Look! I found everything about you."

He stood beside her, clenched both of his hands on the top rail of the chair, and leaned towards her right ear, "Tell me, where's David?" He whispered.

"W-Who David?" She was nervous.

"Who told you that Rory and Rose are step sisters? The one whom you're hiding somewhere. Tell me! Where's he?," He said.

Ella stood and looked at him. "I don't know about him?" she said.

"Look. If you do not tell about him, all your secrets will be out. I know nobody in your family doesn't know about your disease. If you don't want yourself in trouble, tell me where you kept him," He said.

Ella was surprised by his words. "Have you gone through my stuff? How?" She asked.

"What do I not know about you? Your birthdate, weight, size, height, everything. Well it was surprising that the password of the locker was our marriage date," He said

"You know nothing about me. All you know how to blackmail people," Ella intruded.

"Correction, blackmail terrorists," He replied.

"Do you really think that I'm a terrorist?" She asked.

"Yes, and you know what? I'll kill you when I get even a single evidence against you," Jason replied.

Ella creased her forehead. "What do think, you can kill me? You don't know what your girlfriend is up to. What is she doing with you?"

"She's doing nothing to me. Don't bring her into this. Speak for yourself, what do you thought? That I loved you? Or that all I did was because I care for you? Was I successful in making you fall in love with me?" He said.

"Never. Not even in dreams. Love yourself and your bloody girlfriend," Ella shouted.

Jason pulled her closer and said, "I know your dad doesn't know about this. He's living his life like a normal guy but right now, after her wife died, he doesn't want to live anymore. What if he gets kidnapped? Everything about you will be revealed to him and his whole empire will be ours and you brother, he is such a jerk, nobody even cares whether he lives or dies. Everything that happened years back in the company was because of your father and your mother. I don't know why my family accepted you...."

Ella's eyes went bigger with shock when she heard his words. She never thought he would say this. She was broken but was furious too. She slapped him tight without regretting it. Yeah, it hurt him but more broken was Ella. He had guilt for what he said but he said and can't do anything now.

"You deserve this. I know you were forced to marry but I thought, there was at least some kind of friendship between us. But I was wrong. I despise you. You were never like this. Everything that happened between our families, I was always blamed, and again right now, without knowing anything you're blaming me. From childhood, your friendship has always been an act, you always went where you had profit, and yeah, you know nothing about me. Stop finding out my secrets and if you do this, I'll make sure it will break you in pieces and this time, Your parents will be kidnapped and I will never care about what the relationship they had with me,"

She took the file from the table and slammed the door and went towards the study.
