Nicks pov:
Mum leaves and it's just me and charlie now. i can't even put into words how excited i am!!! i love charlie so much and now we are going to have a family, be married, and maybe even adopt a dog!!!
I hug Charlie again and he giggles, god his laugh is adorable. i pick him up bridal style and move us to the family room couch. I lay down and go lays on top of me. i play with his hair until he speaks up
Charlie: "nick...i'm a little scared. what are we gonna do with work and everything. like i'm a man that's pregnant, how do i explain that to people??"
Nick: "i'm nervous too but we are going to get through this together. If you are feeling up to it, since you obviously aren't showing yet, you could go to work for a little bit. but it is whatever you want love"
Charlie: "i don't know. first i wanna make an appointment with a doctor to see how far along i am and maybe we can go from there?"
Nick: "sounds amazing. i can call right now to see if they can get you in"
Charlie: "ok!"
Charlie just late is head back on me, he seems very tired. I continue to play with his hair while i pull out my phone to make a call.
(Later and still nicks pov)
we have an appointment in 2 weeks, and i'm very nervous. but so is charlie so i need to put on a brave face, for Charlie and our baby.
