Chapter 22: All about you

Authors note: Hello beautiful friends!! i'm so sorry for not posting life's in chaotic and im going back into my depression phase (i have bipolar depression lmao) so i'm just kinda tired. knew i should get something out to y'all and promise i lol post more this week! Love y'all!!

Nicks pov:

Charlie starts to cry and i go to hug him, wrapping my arms around his waist while he wraps his arms around my neck. I can feel a few of his tears on my chest. i rub his back lightly and he looks up at me kissing my lips. It was light and sweet, he wasn't crying anymore but i could feel his moist cheeks. He pulls back and looks back into the trunk to see what i brought. Seeing the cooler, my laptop, a bin full of snacks, boyfriend pillow, and his favorite blankets. He gets onto the ledge bum first and tries to scoot backwards but fails so i hop in and grab him under the armpits like a child and gently pull him back.

Charlie: "i could've done it by myself. i'm a grown ass man"

Nick:" Yep but i wanted to help. tonight is all about you."

He giggle and cuddles into me. He moves forward slightly to grab the laptop and and i swing my leg behind him so he can lean on me. (just so we are clear on the seating situation, Nick is leaning on the bf pillow and Charlie is leaning on nick-head on his pecs)

charlie opens the laptop as he's leaning against me and i already had his favorite Disney movie pulled up-coco- and he gets really excited. He leans back even furthers into me and sits up a bit. I place my head on his shoulder so i can watch the movie too. He presses play and i kiss his neck and cheek. I whisper sweet nothings into his ear and he just smiles to invested in the movie. I wrap my arms around his waist and rub his belly. one hand going up and down while the other is going in a circular motion.

Char is always pissed when i do this because it makes the baby move but he doesn't seem to mind right now. He seems more of relaxed.

(movie is over)

Charlie fell asleep and is still asleep. It's about midnight and i know i should drive home but i don't want to wake him. Especially knowing he doesn't get a lot of sleep anyway. I lay back and start to doze too...

Charlie's pov:

I wake up in complete darkness. I start to panic a bit until i remember where i am and feel Nicks hands still rubbing my belly. God his going to be the best father. I'm ready to just be married to him. He's going to be the perfect husband too. We both agreed we would wait until after the baby is born to get married but i'm honestly ready to do it now. I push that thought out of my mind and check the time-1 AM. oh god, i wake nick up and he seems to panic too. But he quietly and carefully observes our surroundings and calms down. I check my phone to see 28 texts from clover and 17 calls. Omg we didn't tell her we'd be out this long. I hit nick in the chest knowing he wouldn't hurt and show him all the notifications. His hands tighten and i start to get out of the car. He follows behind and starts car speeding home....
