Chapter 25: Good morning

(saturday morning after last chapter)

Nicks pov:

Char and i are in the kitchen making breakfast-well i'm cooking and charlie is watching from a recliner in the family room but anyways-just enjoying each others company until we hear clover start to come upstairs.

Clover: "morning bitches"

Charlie: "good morning whore"

Nick: "can you guys not be normal for two goddamn seconds"

Charlie and clover: "shut up"

i roll my eyes and flip them off and they flip me off back. not only are they family but they're friends.

Clover: "wait i have to tell yall the tea from last night because oh my god this shit got crazy"

Charlie: "spill everything"

he starts to rub his belly and looking uncomfortable. i give him a sympathetic look knowing there is nothing i can do to help and keep cooking.

Clover: "so my coworkers ginny and danny are going out right now and so are my other coworkers are helen and julia. ginny and julia are bi but guess what? THEY WERE HAVING AN AFFAIR FOR 3 MONTHS!"

Charlie: "damn. did danny and helen find out?"

Clover: "hell yeah! helen ripped half of ginny's hair out and keyed julia's car! Danny went and flirted with helen at a bar last friday and now they're together. but julia and ginny broke up."

Nick: "holy shit the tea is real"

Charlie: "i would do the same thing as helen that's for damn sure. always sleep with the enemy's family, ex, or friend. it always hurts"

i raise my eyebrow at him and he laughs

Clover: "i mean im not having an affair just living with them"

we laugh and by that time breakfast is ready so i plate it and hand a plate to clover

Clover: "omg you didn't have to make me breakfast. you know i can make my own it's the least i can do.

Nick: "take it as an early birthday gift"

I walk over to charlie who is obviously still in a little pain and kiss his forehead, placing his breakfast on the end table.

Nick: "eat whenever you're ready."

Charlie smiles and nods and i turn around to see clover sitting at the kitchen table eating.

Nick: "you can sit in the living room which charlie you know we don't care"

Clover: "i know. i'm just really starting to feel bad about staying with you guys especially now that charlie is about to have your baby. i feel like im in the way. i've been tho king about it snd if your completely honest with me, i can find a little apartment to live in. I've been saving my money a lot and i have friends that i can live with. just say the word and im out"

Nick: "aww bae you know we love having you around. you bring that bad bitch energy to the house and always have exciting news to tell everyone. if you want to leave we won't be upset but it's up to you. you've been a great roommate and you are always welcome here! i'm putting the ball in your court, do whatever you feel is right. We know how hard you have been working to save your money and you've been helping g out so much around the house. along with paying for your own food and paying rent. but you never had to do that. whatever you want to do will always be supported by us"

Clover: "ong i don't think i could have better friends"

She gets up and hugs me then runs over to charlie, bending over to hug him as he was not about to get up to hug her.

Charlie: "omg you are going to be such an auntie though"

Nick: "you totally are, the skin care, the bad bitch energy it's all you"

Clover: "shut up you're making me blush"

we all laugh and continue to joke around until my phone starts ringing. my dads calling...
