Nicks POV:
As charlie was resting they brought colette back. She is the most gorgeous baby and i am still amazed that this, this is my baby. the baby my fiancée has carried for so long, the sleepless nights, the pain, and insecurity to now have a beautiful baby girl who we get watch grow until the day we die.
as i hold her she opens her eyes with the biggest most beautiful brown eyes, just like me. Charlie wakes up and makes his presence very known
Charlie: "your a dick"
Nick: "tf did i do??"
Charlie: "she looks just like you!"
Nick: "i'm just happy she has your curls"
Charlie: "yeah it's something on my side but other than that i have nothing"
Nick: "alright honey"
Charlie: "now let me hold her"
I hand her over and charlie moves slightly away from me patting the space he made for me
I crawl in and we just watch in amazement that this is a gorgeous combination of our love. the thought makes me cry again.
Charlie notices that i'm crying and just grabs my hand.
Charlie: "you've cried more than me today"
Nick: "shut up nerd"
Charlie: "damn it's been a while since you've called me a nerd, rugby lad"
We both just sit there and laugh and hold our daughter with all the love in the world.
(After a few more minutes)
Nick: "it's really just hard to believe that after all that time, this was our outcome."
Charlie: "it's crazy how time flies one day we were teenagers meeting in school, and now we have a baby. It's truly lovely"
Nick: "i love you so much"
Charlie: "i love you more"
Nick: "and i love her most"
