Chapter 12: Hello friends!!

(About 3 weeks later)

Nicks pov:

Charlie and I have decided that's we are gonna tell the paris squad. Yes we are like 25-26 years old and we still call ourselves the paris squad. But we haven't seen them in a while and now that we have exciting news let's do it!!! We text the group chat and we agree to meet for lunch downtown.

Charlie is about 2 months along so his belly still just looks like his a little bloated you know? like he just ate some chicken nuggets and french fries kind of bloated.

But anyways, we're getting ready and he look in the mirror- shirtless. He looks upset like he did as a teenager. to make him feel better i put my new shirt on and walk behind him, putting my hands on his stomach while my wrists sit on his hips. He looks startled like he was spaced out but he looks up in the mirror and places his hands on mine. He leans his head back into my chest and smiles.

Nick: "Baby, i know your struggling too so tell me what's wrong"

Charlie: "Well...I'm worried that when i'm huge and fat you won't think i'm attractive anymore..."

I turn him around but keep my hands on his belly.

Nick: "I will always love you no matter what you look like, i can promise you that. We could turn into the Shrek movie and i would always love you!"

He just hugs me trying to take it all in. Until he lets go and looks back in the mirror with a smile this time.

(Like an hour later just getting into the restaurant)

Tao's pov:

Elle, Tara, Darcy and I are already here, waiting for Charlie, Nick, and Isaac. When i look up from our table i can see Charlie and Nick walk in. I announce to the table that they arrived and when they come near i can see Charlie looks different. He looks like he ate before he came which is weird considering that he planned this thing?? I'm not going to say anything of course because i'm not that bad of a friend!

Everyone hugs each other but i notice Nick giving everyone an eye as they hug charlie. So i finally ask:

Tao: "Nick what is wrong with you? why are you looking so angry about us just being Charlie's friends?"

Charlie: "oh well we wanted to tell you guys something about that...but we need to wait for Isaac"

I glance at Nick and he seems somewhat upset now that i've called him out. was i too harsh?

Isaac: "Hey guys!!"

I turn over and hug issac

(After everyone is sitting down)

Tao: "Ok Charlie talk"

Charlie: "Well ummm has you guys now im trans, and umm nick and I are expanding our family..."

We all froze for a second until Tara and Elle start freaking out (positively)

Elle: "AHH WHAT?! THATS SO EXCITING!!"

Nick is smiling proudly but i'm pissed. How dare he put his hands on my best friend.

I eye him up and down and he caught me.

Nick: "Tao? Is there something you wanna say?"

He says this sarcastically but that just pisses me off more.

Tao: "How dare you tough my best friend? Does he even want this or did you manipulate him?"

Elle and Charlie looks at me with anger

Darcy and Tara have shocked faces

While Nick and Isaac are just taken back

Charlie stands up from the table

Charlie: "Tao, how dare you assume that! I am more than happy and i was so excited to tell you guys because you have been my closest friends for so long but obviously you don't think the same as me"

He grabs Nick and walks out.
