Charlie's pov:
I just got home from work and Nick should be home soon. I sit on the couch and turn on the tv. Some baking show was on so i just kept it for background noise. i then just scroll through insta waiting for nick to get home when i see a dm from an unknown person...
Unknown: Hey charlie. I haven't been able to stop thinking about you and I think we should meet up. maybe we could work?
I know exactly who it's from so i just close the message so I can show nick later. god why can't he ever get over himself.
I hear the front door open and I jump up to go greet Nick. He's putting his bag down when i go to hug him.
Nick: "Hey baby! i missed you"
Charlie: "i missed you too!!"
He wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me. He then kneels down to my belly and rolls up my shirt. he kisses my stomach and asks how the baby's been. He is obsessed with our baby and i'm only like 1 month and 2 weeks. it's the cutest thing!
Charlie: "great! i barely threw up today so that's something:)"
Nick laughs slightly kisses my belly again and stands up. he kisses my head as he's rubbing my stomach.
Nick: "I love you so much. both of you"
Charlie: "i love you too"
i giggle a bit and ask what he wants for dinner. We decide on ordering in some fish and chips because neither of us felt like cooking.
We sit on the couch order while he sits and rubs my belly. I honestly think the funny part is that i barely even have noticeable bump like i just look slightly bloated but nick is obsessed. he can't stop talking about how we're gonna have a baby. god i love this man.
and then i realize i should probably tell him about the message. So i speak up
Charlie: "i got a DM from ben today..."
Nick stops and looks up at me with slight panic and anger.
Nick: "did you reply? what does he want?"
Charlie: "i didn't answer. but he wants to meet up."
Nick: "what do you think? do you wanna meet up with him?"
Charlie: "absolutely not. i am perfectly happy with you and our baby omg"
Nick: "alright if that's what you want. i love you"
Charlie: "i love you too. I love you so much"
