throughout the day, nick and i discussed the pros and cons of posting us being together on social media. yeah, it would cause a temporary uproar, but people already suspect it. we are adults and we know what comes with these kinds of things. aside from movie and business related updates, we aren't huge social media people and i've felt myself only posting sentimental things lately. so it's bound to only get more distant the more busy i get and the more nick and i get closer.

so, we came to a conclusion that a picture from the day we spent on the beach and the comments turned off would do. a few things from social media based news outlets have been shared but nothing terrible. a lot of complaints on people not knowing who i am which is completely fine.

now, we just finished getting things settled for alyssa to get here. music was blaring through the tv speakers as i swept the living area and nick was upstairs doing something.

"we might need to run somewhere to get a few things. we are pretty bare on snacks and i don't know what you girls need as necessities that she might need." he says as he makes his way down the stairs with a towel over his shoulder. "we can go to a store tomorrow, right?" i offer. "i mean, taylor and i have a shoot tomorrow so if you guys wanna go you can. can i give you a list of some things?" he asks.
"of course, text them to me or write them down. what shoot is it again?" i ask him. "it's the one where it looks like we are running around, doing things all secretly or whatever. just what matthew and casey directed." he shrugs and goes to put the towel in the dirty laundry.

it's currently noon here and alyssa was landing in approximately two hours and nick has to leave for his photo shoot. "be careful in traffic, the airport is no joke when you're the one driving." he says as he puts his shoes on. "i know, i seen how it was when i first got here and it was even worse when we got back from the white house. oh god, remember the taxi driver telling us to hang on and all three of us had that feeling of whiplash for days?" i bring up and we start to laugh. "well, i gotta go. don't get into any jealous fights over me while i'm gone. be nice." he says and kisses my forehead. "you be nice." i say and smile and he walks out; waving behind him before he shuts the door.

i throw myself on the couch and scroll on my phone to pass some time before i have to leave soon. i was getting more and more anxious but in an excited way. i decided not to worry about alyssa and her little crush on nick. it's a 'so what' situation and i don't want to be insecure. i think it was just an initial reaction since i haven't been in a relationship in a while and it's still so early on. the last thing i want it to do is separate a friendship.

soon enough, i got up, put my shoes on, fixed my hair and walked out of the door and down to the elevator which led me to the lobby. "uh, miss lewis right?" the front desk worker said as he clicked a pen and set it down. "um, yeah. is everything alright?" i ask. "i just wanted to inform you that some time last night someone who is not on your check-in form tried asking what room they could find you in. we wanted to run it by you first before we asked for further information and security. we know you are here for business in regards of film work as your friend is an actor himself, it is in our greatest concern and duty to keep everyone, including you two, safe." he says in a concerned tone.
