stasia

for a second i forgot where i was. that was until i roll over, just to be met with a back. nicks back to be exact; and a smile rose to my face. i remember what we all went and did last night and everything started coming back to me. i search the room for a clock, the sun is already up, but i don't see one. so i get out of bed and head to the kitchen where i know where one is.

nine fifty. nick should be getting up in ten minutes. so i head back to the room and climb back into bed. i lay there with my eyes closed until i hear a blaring alarm go off, quickly being shut off. i open my eyes and see him peek over at me. "oh good, you're awake." he says behind a yawn. "sure am. good morning." i say back. "good morning." he says while stretching. he climbs out of bed and starts to make his way to the bathroom. "can you hand me my phone, pretty please?" i ask. it was on his nightstand so he turns and hands it to me. i see i had a few texts so i tap on the group if notifications to see who they are from.

two from claira, three from taylor, and two from- TWO FROM ALYSSA!? what in the world did alyssa text me?

"nicholas galitzine! get in here right now!" i say and sit up in the bed. "what!? what happened?" he says while rushing to fix his boxers. "alyssa texted me!" i whisper yelled. "what! no way!" he says and starts to laugh as he throws himself next to me on the bed.

"what did she say!?" he asks. "i don't know yet, i was gonna wait for you." i say. "open the texts!" he says. i wait for a second and then slowly tap on the notifications.

enjoy louisiana and your friends but,
remember what i said and never forget
it, miss spoiled

we both read the texts, starting out loud but slowly fading out. she had to have seen the comments that i was going to meet austin. "delete them." nick immediately says. "no... in case..." i start quietly. "she's jealous of you, stasia! it's evident and i'm tired of her implanting the thought into your head that you'd be a nobody without me. so what if that's the truth! embrace it! laugh in her face! who is going to have dinner with their friends that she wishes she had in a few days? not her!" he says as he gently takes my face into his hands.

as much as i want to listen to him, i don't right away. i stare at the messages for a second. i think of replying, but what would i say? there comes a time where being the bigger person speaks a million more words than a couple word text message. so... i leave her on read.

"i'm sorry she sent that to you." nick says as he's getting dressed. "it's no big deal." i shrug it off. i decided to climb out of bed and get ready as well. i throw my outfit on and quickly put makeup on so i didn't leave nick waiting too long.

we decided on bringing a few people some breakfast since we had some extra time. "you're being quiet..." he says as he looks over at me. "what?" i reply to his words. "please don't let her jealousy get to you." he pleads. "i'm trying. i just- i have that guilt of bringing her to london and then just leaving her in a hotel room but i guess she kinda wanted that." i wander off. "she made it clear that she didn't want to be civil with you and that hotel was nice. you did her just fine, my love."
