mandi saw allision give the keys to gerads office to stiles discreetly. so mandi rushed over to him and took them, she new stiles he would get distracted by something and theyd lose their time frame, and they needed the bestiary. Although mandi does have ADHD as well, she's able to manage it better than he does.
and she was right because she had  searched the entire office by the time stiles came up.
"nothing." "shit." "dont swear." "why you do it all the time."
as mandi goes to walk out she runs into erica.
"fuck." she mutters
"case in point." stiles says as erica grabs them and pulls the to the pools where derek stands holding a basketball.
"what did you see at the garage stiles."
"uh a bunch of eba violations"
"mandi you want to give a better answer than your brother did."
"you know derek this is why i called you a dick and shot you."
"okay fine." derek pops the basketball with his nails.
"oh my God." stiles mutters tensing up in fear.
mandi just snorts, "that was a really pathetic threat."
erica grabs mandi's hair and yanks it. without thinking mandi turns around and punches the girl in her nose most likely breaking it.
"bitch." erica mutters.
"okay lets try this again." derek says effectively getting stiles to describe the thing that was at the garage. while hes talking derek looks up at the roof and stares. mandi notices and slowly looks uo seeing the thing that stiles is talking about she waslks forward some and pulls on stiles trying to get him to walk forward.
"what what is it? have you guys seen it you look like youve seen it."
"stiles can you trust me for five seconds and walk over here." mandi says backing away from stiles.
"why?"
"Cause its above you." she whisper yells at him.
stiles looks up and jumps out of the way as the thing hisses and jumps down throwing erica against the wall.
"ow. she might've deserved that but ow." mandi says.
"run!" derek yells at mandi and stiles but when he turns back to face the thing stiles and mandi notice a small cut on his neck. "derek-" mandi starts but gets cut off by derek falling at the last second she steps out of the way so he doesnt fall on her but instead the ground. "seriously?" "what?!? i dont want to be crushed."
"okay okay mandi grab an arm." stiles says as he picks up derek some from his arm mandi does the same and they start walking. "where is it do you see it."
"no stiles call scott." "okay." stiles says letting go of his side of derek causing all of dereks wait to go against mandi. which makes her stumble some before she loses her footing and the both start falling into the pool.
"stiles, you son of a-" derek gets cut off by the splash of him and mandi falling into the water.
mandi moves derek to the side so she could go to the surface grbbing derek along the way.
mandi was able to keep herself and derek up for a few seconds to yell, "oi dick head! you want to help me with him." before both mandi and derek go back under. stiles gets in and helps hold derek up. but being stiles and derek they started arguing.
"shut the fuck up before i drown both of you." mandi says as she tries coughing all the water out of her lungs. mandi was focussed on keeping her self and derek afloat she missed their conversation. so she was extremely unprepared when stiles let go of derek making him and mandi sink to the bottom. mandi swam up for a breath and the went to the very bottam trying to grab derek and pull him up. she feels some of dereks wait being lifted off of her. so she swims to the top before grabbing derek again to help stiles.
they needed to get to the diving board to hold onto it but once the finally got there something happened and stiles went under dragging derek with him.
"fuck my life." mandi says before taking a breath and going under trying desperately to grab her brother and derek only to be lifted out of the water before getting to them. mandi watches as scott lifts stiles and derek out of the water depositing them next to mandi. she could hear scott roaring and trying to fight this thing and then it went quiet. but none of the really managed to sink in because mandi was preoccupied with coughing the chlorine water out of her and trying to catch her breath.
