Amara :
It had been about nine minutes since Zander was injured, we already bandaged him up and he had fallen asleep, everyone had, except for me and Lili. We had a lot to talk about.
"Lili, can I talk to you? " I ask.
" Yeah" she says.
" You're so pretty, Lili, you're such a great person." I say.
" Amara..." she says.
I slowly get closer to her, my face heating up.
" Amara, I've liked you for so long...I just could never get myself to admit it, I accepted the date with Kyle so I could take my mind off you, but now I realize I love you too much..." She admits, tears slowly roll down her cheeks.
" Lili, I love you! You're the most amazing, beautiful, kind person I've ever met! " I say, finally accepting the fact that Lili is my love.
I grab Lili and hug her tight, her warm hands wrap around my waist embracing the hug.
" we should probably head to bed, there's really nothing else to do." She says.
" Wait! What time was that date with Kyle again? " I ask.
" 7:00 or something, why?" She responds.
" It's 4:31, wanna go to that date and dip?" I ask.
" OF COURSE!!! He's so toxic anyways." She accepts.
" Kia's asleep? Who's gonna drive us? " I ask.
"It's not too long from here, you wanna walk?" She asks.
"Yeah, sure." I say, walking towards the front door.
Me and Lili walk a few blocks to the restaurant, It was a pretty big building.
" I probably should've dressed better" Lili says.
"You look pretty, like always! " I say.
" Thank you, Mara." She says as my face heats up.
"Well, you ready to do this?" I ask.
" You know I am!" She says
