Always You

Chapter 8

Doctor Kane asks, "why didn't you tell me, Declan?." Declan answers, "I tried dad, but you were not listening, besides, you always think it's my fault anyway." Doctor Kane sighs saying, "I am sorry, son and thanks Holly for setting me straight, all I know is that neither of you are going to college today.. Holly you need to rest and Declan, you will be watching her every move... do not mess anything up!." Declan says, "don't worry dad, I won't let her out of my sight." They soon head home as Holly says, "I will head up to bed, get out of your way." Declan says, "yeah right, sit down I will make you something to eat." Holly sits on the couch as Tiddles comes beside her; Tiddles curls up into a ball while Holly thinks, 'Declan Kane, cooking for me?.' Soon Holly smells a delicious aroma as Declan comes back with a plate of cheese toasted sandwiches; Holly says, "mmmm, something smells delicious." She takes a bite saying, "woah, these are..... so good and yummy." Declan says, "told you, contrary to what my dad thinks, I can do a few things right...." Holly wonders, 'we really need to lighten the mood!.' She playfully stuffs her face as Declan laughs saying, "that is SO GROSS, Holls!." He sits beside her saying, "this... almost feels like old times." Holly asks, "you mean before you walked out on me?." Declan replies, "well about that...." Declan's eyes linger on Holly a little too long as she feels the heat of heart racing thinking, 'I have to get out of here.' Holly says, "um, I should take a shower." She gets up too quickly and is about to fall when Declan holds her as she says, "ow!." Declan says, "you are not well enough to do that." 

Holly pushes him off saying, "you're not the boss of me, Declan!." She heads to the bathroom as Declan comes behind her saying, "Holls, seriously, I promised my dad I would look after you and I am not letting you out of my sight... I am coming in." He removes his shirt as Holly looks stunned saying, "Declan!!." He comes in as Holly feels the flutter in her stomach and holds her asking, "is this what you want, Holls?." Holly blushes replying, "yeah, it's nothing you haven't seen before, right?." Declan says, "ok." He helps her undress as her skin tingles with every touch. Soon they are both naked under the showerhead; Declan asks, "what would Jason think about this?." Holly replies, "Jason isn't here right now." Declan says, "thank god." Declan gets closer, pushing Holly back up against the tiles as he pins her arms on both side looking at Holly asking, "do you understand it's taking every fiber of my being not to kiss you, Holls?." Holly replies, "so kiss me, Dec." Declan kisses Holly gently but soon grows deeper as Holly presses her hands to his chest feeling his muscles go tight. Declan kisses her neck as she moans, and they catch their breath for a moment. Declan says, "god, I missed this." Holly says, "I-I have a boyfriend." Declan says, "you should try and sound more convincing when you say that." Just then the doorbell rings as they both looked a little shocked wondering, 'who could that be??.' Declan comes out, dries himself and changes before heading downstairs. He opens surprised saying, "Matilda...." Matilda asks, "where is she??." Declan replies, "who?." Matilda says, "don't play dumb, Declan." Holly then comes behind saying, "chill, I am here." Matilda asks, "where have you been?? you have been ignoring my texts! Oh my god, are you ok? your head!." Holly answers, "relax Tilly, I am fine." Matilda takes a deep breath saying, "well Jason is freaking out, he knows you AND Declan missed class today." 

Holly says, "Matilda... why do you care so much about Jason's opinion?." Matilda says, "because someone should!." Holly says, "come with me!." She invites Matilda to the room who then asks, "what is really going on, Holly?." Holly takes a deep breath before answering, "my parents are going through some stuff.. it is complicated." After hearing everything, Matilda is understanding saying, "oh my, I am so sorry to hear that... but are you sure this is a good idea?." Holly says, "of course, I am not sure but it's not like I have a choice." Matilda asks, "are you going to get back together with Declan?."
