Always You

Chapter 21

He brings her to college's rooftop as she asks, "what are we doing up here, Declan?". Declan replies, "after all that, I just wanted it to be the two of us, alone". Holly asks, "you and me?." Declan says, "you and me, Holls the way you had my back... you always do." Holly says, "and I always will." Declan takes her hand saying, "Holly, I need to tell you something...I'm falling in love with you". Holly was surprised by his words as he continues saying, "I think I have loved you forever, babe". Holly says, "Declan... I love you too." Declan asks, "do you mean it?." Holly replies, "since the day we met." Declan grabs Holly's face on both side, kissing her deeply under the moonlight, the tension between the both of you grows as he pushes her back against the wall. Holly says, "Declan...." He trails kisses down her neck, hands stroking her body as Holly lets her fingers tangle in his hair, he moans in ecstasy. Declan says, "oh god I want you so badly, Holly". Holly says, "I want you too." The words make him groan however he stops himself saying, "but not here, soon." They soon head back to the party as Matilda says, "there you are! where did you both disappear to?". Holly and Declan look at each other with a smile before she replies, "we were busy". Matilda says, "well whilst you were both busy, they just announced Declan as homecoming King!". Declan says, "no way!." Holly says, "congratulation Declan, you deserve it, I wonder who's the Queen?." Matilda says, "and they are just announcing that right now, bestie." Declan says, "let's go, Holly." However, as they are about to leave a familiar face arrives saying, "not so fast, we are not done here". Mike punches Declan leaving Holly stunned and shocked. Mike continues to punch Declan a few times before saying, "that's for breaking Emilia's heart!." Holly says, "Declan!". 

Declan says annoyed, "hey! Emilia and I were never even together". Holly was annoyed saying, "yeah, what the hell is wrong with you?!". Mike says, "this is your fault too, Holly.... do I need to come for you next?". He gets himself ready to attack her as Declan shields her behind him just as three guys grab Mike and drag him away. Mike sees their angry faces saying stunned, "aw, hell no!". Justin says, "you don't mess with our captain, and you really don't mess with Holly". Holly says, "Declan, I've got this!." She comes over and slaps Mike as Declan says, "doesn't feel so good, does it?." Holly says, "you jerk! how dare you come and hurt Declan and make such a scene... I could kick your ass right now!." She continues to reprimand him unaware that Emilia is recording them. Holly soon notices her asking, "were you filming that?!". Emilia replies, "duh, everyone needs to know what an asshole Mike is". He runs away as she comes over saying, "I am so, so sorry, Holly I had no idea he would come for Declan like that". Holly was not fooled by the fake act Emilia was putting saying, "you know what? you and Mike are both dumbass, you knew exactly what you were doing... you just wanted to cause drama!". Emilia drops the act smirking saying, "maybe you're right, Holly I hope we can put all this behind us". She walks away smirking as Nadiya takes the stage and says, "would the Homecoming King please join us on stage?". Declan walks up as Nadiya puts a crown on his head saying, "everyone, give it up for Homecoming King, Declan!". 

The crowd cheers with delight as Nadiya says, "and this year's Homecoming Queen is... Holly!". The crowd again cheers with joy as Holly rushes to the stage to get her crown; Nadiya asks, "any words you would like to say, Holly?". Holly looks at everyone saying, "thank you so much, I never expected this!". Declan says, "I told you, you would be my Queen". Nadiya puts the crown on Holly's head before saying, "aren't they just the cutest couple?!". However just then the music is stopped as the principal says, "STOP RIGHT THERE! Emilia has just shown me a very interesting video, how do you explain this?". Holly and Declan both see the recording of when Holly slapped Mike and Declan had said, "doesn't feel so good, does it?". Holly thinks angrily, 'that bitch was filming the fight to FRAME us!'. Emilia comes on stage beside Declan who glares annoyedly at her saying, "I told you would regret this, Declan". The principal says, "you know we have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, explain yourselves right now or you shall both lose your homecoming crowns alongside leaving this party". Holly looks at the principal wondering, 'hm Emilia thinks she can get me and Declan in trouble for something she and Mike did?!'. Holly says, "the truth is that Emilia and Mike set up". Holly explains the situation as Emilia tries to protest whilst Justin and the boys defend Declan and Holly blaming Emilia. Emilia scowls angrily as the principal says, "thank you for letting me know the truth, Holly! Emilia you are not welcome here please leave!." Emilia storms off as Declan says, "you were amazing, Holls!." The principal leaves as the music resumes with Declan and Holly sharing a warm kiss with the crowd cheering. Later that evening as Holly and Declan take a walk down the college's hallway they soon meet Justin and Adam. Justin says, "hey Declan we are headed to the afterparty! It's gonna be insane, you down?." Declan replies, "maybe later, bro.... Holly and I have other plans." Justin and Adam leave while Holly says, "Declan, if you want to go with the boys you can...". Declan pulls her closer replying, "there's nothing more that I want then you right now, Holls!". Declan and Holly share a kiss before Declan takes Holly on a drive; Holly asks, "are we not going home, tonight?". Declan replies with a smile on his lips, "actually I have a surprise for you".
