Chapter 26

Soon in the crowd Holly and Declan are dancing as Holly asks, "having fun, Declan?." Declan replies, "I could be in a dump and have fun with you, but honestly this is pretty freaking awesome, you just make everything better, Holls." Holly says, "Declan it means so much to me that you are here". Declan says, "I would travel anywhere for you, babe... nobody at college is going to believe we had such a cool weekend, I want to cherish this forever". Holly says, "Declan, let's take a selfie." Declan takes out his phone asking, "what pose should we do?." Holly replies, "let's do a goofy one." They pull silly faces as Declan captures the photo before stealing a kiss from Holly who playfully hits him. Declan posts it on his page as Holly sees the comments; Declan says, "you're a legend, Holls." Soon onstage Liam says, "you all have been so awesome tonight!- thank you! now for one last special surprise". Niall asks, "who wants to come up on stage and join us for our final song?". Holly says, "oh my god, Declan.... are they serious?." Declan answers, "you were made for this, Holly." Matt says, "they do!." Holly says stunned, "Matt!." Matt says, "what??." Niall says, "how about you two lovebirds in the crowd! will you come up onstage with us?." Holly and Declan get up on stage as Holly boldly says, "let's do it!". Liam says, "alright! Give it up for our new friends.... Holly and Declan! make some noise everyone." The crowd cheers and goes wild just as Niall asks, "you ready to sing along?." Holly replies, "oh I have been ready my whole life!". Niall says, "I love your confidence, let's do it". The boys begin playing their instrument as Holly and Declan join in with Liam singing, 'that what makes you beautiful!'. Soon the song is over as Niall says, "wooooooo give it up for Holly and Declan!". 

Before she can get offstage Declan pulls her into a passionate kiss as Zayn says, "damn, you two really are in love". Later that evening Holly says, "that was the best night of my life". Declan says, "mine too." Matt says, "oh please, the night's just getting started." Holly soon feels something wrong saying, "oh my god, wait!." Declan turns to see her worried asking, "what is it, Holly?." Holly replies, "I lost my necklace! The one you gave me, Declan." Declan says, "let's go get it then." Holly asks, "what about the boat??." Matt replies, "I will hold the boat, don't worry." Later as it turns dark Holly and Declan still don't find the necklace as Holly says, "ugh, I don't see it anywhere." Just then a member of staff comes over saying, "hey! you guys lose a necklace?". Holly sees the necklace in his hand saying, "thank you so much". He replies, "no problem, I am glad it found its rightful place, you better hurry though if you don't want to get stuck here". Declan makes Holly wear the necklace as she says, "phew, I am so glad I got it back, it means way too much to me to lose it." Declan says, "me too, but I think we might have another problem....". They come to the pier to find it is empty as Declan says, "the boat's gone". Holly says, "and so is everyone else." The next morning Declan and Holly come to the shore saying, "we are stranded!." 

Declan says annoyed, "this is perfect... what the hell are we supposed to do now?!". Holly replies, "Declan... how good are you at swimming?". Declan wasn't amused saying, "this isn't a joke! God, I already feel like I don't belong here! and now are stranded on a fucking island?! I bet if Matt were here, he'd know how to get out of this." Holly says, "Declan...." Declan says, "with his fancy concert tickets and fancy apartment!". Holly says infuriated, "come on Dec... I don't care about any of that stuff!." Declan rolls his eyes saying, "sure, but I do, forget it I'm going to look for a boat or something." Just then a yacht approaches with One Direction on it; Niall waves asking, "hey! you guys need a ride?". Holly and Declan were stunned saying, "holy shit! ONE DIRECTION is actually offering us a ride?!." Liam says, "there's plenty of room on our boat!." Declan says, "we have to go with them, otherwise we might never get off this island!". Just then a fisherman comes in his small boat beside the yacht saying, "hello, children need a ride back to the city?". Holly asks, "umm... is it safe?." The fisherman replies, "who know?." He gives an evil stare and laughs a wicked laugh asking, "so how about it?." Holly thinks, 'I am not going to get us murdered tonight....' She says with a smile, "we are definitely partying with ONE DIRECTION!." Declan says, "thank god!." The fisherman sails off as Declan and Holly soon board the yacht; The day passes quickly as it is soon evening everyone gathers around with a cup of champagne. Holly says, "thanks for the ride." Niall says, "of course." Liam says, "yeah, you guys killed it onstage yesterday.... we had to help you out." Liam asks, "how about a toast?." Harry says, "Holly can do the honours!." They raise their glasses as Holly says, "to the best band in the world and to my hot boyfriend!." Harry says, "he's a lucky man." The guy's head inside as Declan and Holly stay out looking at the sky; Declan turns to her saying, "cheers, Holls". They drink their bubbly just as there is a loud bang and bright lights in the sky; Holly and Declan watch the fireworks before sharing a passionate kiss.
