Chapter 10

Holly looks at Declan before giving him a kiss on the cheek; she smiles saying, "I'm listening...." Declan says, "fine, then how about this? if you come to the party with me... I will tell you exactly what happened the night we broke up." Holly is surprised as Declan takes her hand; his fiery gaze locked on her makes her blush. Declan says, "I promise, Holls." Holly leaves for college which finishes very quickly. Later that evening in her room she is with Tiddles saying, "I can't believe Declan talked me into this...." Her phone beeps and she sees a text from Declan, 'you ready, Holls?.' Holly texts, 'almost.' Declan texts, 'I definitely am, I can't wait to see what you are wearing.' Holly looks in her wardrobe thinking, 'if I am going to be Declan's date... I need to wear a cute outfit... show him what he's been missing.' Holly has a quick shower, freshens up and wears a beautiful lace flower dress with pink heels. Holly asks, "Tiddles, how do I look?." Tiddles purrs happily as Holly bends down and gives him a kiss. She soon head downstairs to see Declan quirking a flirty grin as he scans her body with his eyes. Holly says, "Declan, my eyes are up here...." Declan says, "you always keep me on my toes in the best way." Declan opens the door to leave however Holly sees a familiar face on the doorstep. Holly says, "Jason? what are you doing here?." Jason replies, "picking up my date... I am taking you to the party, babe." Declan has anger in his eyes looking at Jason replying, "no, I'M taking her!." Jason says, "she's still my girlfriend, Declan!." 

Declan says, "whatever you keep telling yourself," Jason says, "screw you, Kane!." Jason pushes Declan as Holly says, "hey! stop it, both of you." She thinks, 'I don't want them fighting....' Holly says, "Declan... I am going with Jason; I will see you later." She goes outside as Jason says, "stay away from her, Declan!." He leaves as Declan looks angrily at them heading off, soon at the party Jason says, "hey, I am really glad you came to the party tonight." Holly says, "me too," Jason says, "I am especially glad you ditched that loser, Declan." He goes to get drinks as Matilda comes over saying, "wow, so you took my advice! you're here with Jason." Holly says, "yep, and I left Declan at home, too." Matilda says, "I'm...." Holly says, "surprised?." Matilda replies, "impressed and I am sorry for freaking out earlier." Holly asks, "Tilly, what is going on with you? do you have a crush on my boyfriend?." Matilda replies, "what, no way? I am sorry I have been weird lately just a lot has been going on... how about we just enjoy ourselves tonight, ok?." Holly says, "my thoughts, exactly, it will be a lot easier to do that without Declan here messing with my head." Matilda says, "well, maybe not as easy as you think....." Holly turns to look at the door seeing Declan. Declan thinks, 'I can't believe Holly ditched me for that dweeb! ugh, just looking at Jason pisses me off, when I find Holly I am going to give her a piece of my mind.. but she told me that I can't speak to her in public.. no matter how badly I want to be near her.' 

Declan texts Holly, 'hey.' Holly texts back, 'what do you want, Declan?.' Declan texts, 'well since I cannot be seen with you, I am texting you instead, I have to find some way to flirt with you, don't I?.' Holly texts, 'what has gotten into you tonight, Declan?.' Declan texts back, 'I just want you, Holls.' Holly feels her face blush as Matilda says, "this party is BORING! Let's do something FUN, never have I ever!." Jason comes over saying, "I'm in." Matilda says, "everyone outside! NOW!." They soon gather outside as Matilda says, "let's do this! it's gonna be so much fun." Jason says, "remember the rules, Kane." Declan says, "I am not talking to her, am I? I'm just at a party." Holly says, "you guys... stop fighting over me! I can take care of myself." Jason asks, "are you sure about that, babe?." Matilda says, "I agree with Holly! let's start... first question never have I ever.... cheated on an exam." Jason drinks a sip as Holly says, "lame, Jason." Jason says looking at everyone, "oh please, like you're all angels... next question... never have I ever kissed someone I wasn't supposed to." Holly and Declan both stare at each other.
