Chapter 30

Holly and Declan come home as Declan heads into the shower; Holly opens her laptop and begins to search something online as Declan says, "babe are you going join me?". Holly replies, "just a minute." Holly soon joins Declan for a steamy sensual shower before having a romantic intimate evening in each other's arms. A few days later Holly treats Declan to a fancy evening around the city as he says, "wow, this is beautiful." Holly says, "I know your Canadian experience hasn't been ideal... but the city has a lot to offer". Declan says, "it's just so different from home, Holls". Holly treats Declan to the Canadian poutine as he days, "oh my god, this is delicious!." Holly says, "yet another thing Canada is famous for!." Declan says, "maybe it's not such a bad place after all...." They take a trip down to the CN tower before soon walking down the street where a guy is spraying painting street art. Declan says, "wow, this is really cool". The artist says, "thank you, I do stuff like this all over the city". Holly says, "he's visiting, and I am trying to convince him it's great here". The artist says, "oh, Toronto is awesome, here make your mark". He hands Declan a spray can as Declan writes, 'DECLAN WAS HERE'. Holly writes, 'I LOVE DECLAN.' The artist says, "there you both go, already making your mark." They share a kiss before soon heading home; in the bathroom Holly is in deep thoughts remembering the incident as she thinks, 'stop crying, he is safe now'. Declan comes into the bathroom saying, "Holls? what's wrong?". Holly replies, "I just... I can't stop picturing what happened a few days ago... when you were hurt... I was so scared Declan." Declan holds her in his arms saying, "I'm right here, Holls, nothing is ever going to happen to me". A wave of emotions overcomes Holly as she brings Declan closer to her for a passionate warm kiss; Holly says, "Declan... don't stop kissing me". He says, "I don't plan on it, babe... I want you Holly." Declan's hand comes under her butt squeezing as he lifts Holly onto the sink. Holly gasps before giggling saying, "you're a naughty boy". Declan winks and smirks playfully replying, "only for you, baby". His hand tangle in her hair and then down her neck as he begins to undress her; Holly soon gets down and comes out of the bathroom as Declan follows her to the bed. Holly removes his trouser and shirt before pulling him into her as she moans in delight. 

Declan leans down to whisper in Holly's ear, "tell me you are mine". Holly says, "I am all yours, Declan". She throws her head back as he continues giving her pleasure; Early the next morning Holly was asleep while Declan watched her thinking, 'she is so perfect, but this weekend has been so hard... worrying about her here in this city... who she might be with... I don't know if my heart can take it... I know what I have to do.' He gets up and changes before writing a note and soon disappearing. A few hours later Holly wakes up and feels the side of the bed empty calling, "Declan?." She comes downstairs to the kitchen saying, "Declan?." She sees a note on the table saying, "what's this...." She opens the note reading from Declan, "I am sorry, I cannot do this... I love you." Holly drops the note in tears wondering, "what the HELL?". A few minute later Holly is holding the note and reading it again thinking, 'no I can't let him do this'. She runs upstairs and grabs her mobile phone texting Declan, 'Declan I got your note, don't give up on us'. Declan texts, 'I don't want to, this is what's best for both of us'. Holly texts, 'what do you mean?.' He sends her a voice note however Holly texts, 'I don't want to hear it, Declan you should have stayed, you should have faced me.' Holly looks at her phone desperate for an answer however there's no response. She cries just as the door opens and Leah comes in. Leah asks, "oh sweetie, what is it?." Holly replies, "It's Declan... he's gone." Leah says, "I'm sure he will be back." Holly says, "not this time mom, I need to go after him". Leah says, "I won't stop you... honey I am so sorry I took you away from him obviously you both care so much about each other, you are meant to be together." Holly asks, "then how do I get him back?". Leah replies, "you have to make a grand gesture". Holly says, "tomorrow's the fall festival and his birthday." Leah says, "sounds like you have a flight to catch." 

Holly runs upstairs and begins to pack; she heads into the shower and changes before soon coming downstairs. Holly hugs her mom who wishes her good luck. A few hours later Holly comes over to Matilda's house and tells her everything. Matilda says, "you've got this, bestie there is no way Declan will say no to you." Holly says, "thanks for helping me Tilly, even though I forgot you existed." The two girls laugh just as a familiar face comes in saying, "babe are you ready for the scan?." Holly sees Justin who says, "hey Holly, you're back." Matilda says, "I will be down in five minutes." Justin nods and leaves as Holly says, "Tilly, when did you and-." Matilda says, "we were paired for a project, and he was so kind and supportive despite me being pregnant and we went out... I guess you could say me, and Justin are soulmates". Holly was happy for her best friend as Matilda says, "ok so phase one of the plan.... a HOT outfit!." Holly tries on a few options before choosing an orange dress with black boots as Matilda says, "YES! Declan won't be able to resist you in the outfit." Holly looked in the mirror asking, "are you sure, Tilly?."
