Chapter 16

Athena

When I wake up the next morning and I didn't feel Jack behind me. I turn over to see if he was still there, but sadly it's just an empty bed again. I hoped he hasn't left without saying goodbye. I wasn't ready for him to leave, I know I'm stronger now to fight off the demon, but having Jack around makes me forget that I even have one.

I sit up and stair at the empty room. I then hear my bathroom door open and see Jack walking out with just a towel around his waist. His body was dripping wet and I start to get jealous of the water droplets rolling down his abs. I start to feel heat between my legs and my breathing starts to get heavy. He was drying his hair with another towel and he immediately stops to sniff the air.
Shit! He's gonna know I'm getting wet just by looking at him.

He takes the towel off of his head and looks at me with dark eyes. "Athena, your making it really hard for me to control my wolf." He says in a sexy low voice, but it only makes me wetter. I turn around and shut my eyes.
"Then get some clothes on before I'm the one attacking you." I say and lay back down to cover my face with a pillow.
Did I just say that.

I hear Jack chuckle, "As you wish my love." I then hear the bathroom door close and I immediately I get out of bed and grab my black jump suit and put it on. We wear these suits because it easy to move in and we are able to shift without ruining our actual clothing.

Jack comes out of the bathroom fully clothed and I kinda wish I could have seen more. He sits on the bed to put his socks on and I walk into the bathroom to grab my hair brush and pull my hair back into a ponytail. When I finished, I walk back to the room and Jack was looking at me with an irritated face.

"What?" I ask.
"I don't like your training outfits." He says. I smiled and give him a kiss on the cheek. I sit next to him and put my shoes on with him.
"So, when will you be leaving." I asked.
"I was actually about to mind link CJ and Reed to meet me at the truck." He says. I hate the fact that he's leaving, but I know he had things to attend to back at home.

"When will you be back?" I ask.
"I should be able to have everything done in a week and half. I have to inform the pack and then we have to pack up and move everything back to the camp site." He explains. I nod and give him a half smile.
"Hey" He lefts my chin up to look at him "I'll be back before you know it, I promise." He reassure me and places a kiss on my forehead.

We both head out to his truck and see everyone already waiting for us. Mark is saying goodbye to CJ, and Izzy and Reed are laughing up a storm.
I see my father walking our way, "I'm sorry for Sam's actions." He says.
"Don't apologize, it wasn't your fault." Jack replies.
"I hope to see you guys soon yes."
"Yes, I plan to move back at our old campsite." Jack says.

I see CJ smile and look at Mark who is smiling back at her. I bet everyone will be happy to come back.
"Thats great news, stop by anytime you like." My father says and heads back inside.

Jack turns to me and kisses my cheek. "I promise to be back as soon as I get everything done, ok."
"Ok....but you better not take too long, or I'll go over there and drag you back myself." I warn.
"Dam Jack, your mates scary." Reed says and we all laugh. Everyone hops in the truck and we all wave good-bye as they drive away.

Once Jack left, I had my people get ready for basic training. I like to train everyday, but sometimes I like to cancel if I see my people having fun with their families or if it's a nice day for a run.

Izzy, Mark, Sam and I usually train together, or sometimes we would train in smaller groups, but today I just had them do their daily drills since Sam wasn't here. Which was just a five mile run and a few combat training moves.
