Chapter 21

It was time to get ready to head over to Jacks. I wore a pair of shorts and a black t-shirt, nothing to fancy just something simple. I brushed my hair and pulled it up to a pony tail. I was about to put my shoes on when I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I say.

Izzy walked in wearing a yellow flower sun dress and looking beautiful as always.
"Well don't you look drop dead gorgeous." I tease.
"You like it." Izzy does a little spin, showing off her dress.
"I do, whats the special occasion?" I ask.

"I see everyone so happy with their mates. I'm hoping to find mine soon." She says, taking a seat right next to me on the bed. "My mom always said that everyone has a mate out there. There's that one special someone for each and every one of us." She says with a half smile. "Yet I still never found mine, maybe I never will."

Even with the smile on her face, her eyes showed only sadness. Izzy is the same age as me and still doesn't have a mate. We usually are about to sense them at age 18, but sadly no one here is her mate.

"Hey!" I bump shoulders with her and she looks at me. "I don't ever wanna hear you talk like that again ok." Izzy only nods but still has that fake smile on. I place my hand on hers. "Izzy, I didn't believe in this whole mate thing until I meant Jack. There is someone out there for you, no doubt about it and I bet he's just as crazy to finding you then you are to finding him."

"Thank you." She says, giving me a quick hug and pulling me off the bed. "We need to get going and now my makeup is ruined, so you finish getting ready and I'm gonna go in your bathroom and check on my make up."

Izzy heads towards my bathroom and I finish getting ready. I look at myself in the mirror one last time, making sure I look ok. I look at the mark Jack gave me and traced over it with my fingers. I felt a little tingling sensation and my wolf got excited.
Izzy walks out of the bathroom and we head outside to meet up with Mark.

He looked a little antsy and was motion us to hurry up. "About time, I was about to go get you girls." He says frustrated. Izzy and I looked at each other and laugh. We knew he just wanted to see CJ.
"Alright let's go before Mark freaks out" I tease.

When we arrived at the campsite, the air smelled of delicious food. My stomach growled in response and my mouth got all watery. We see the big table filled with food and Jacks pack already taking their seats, chatting with one another.

"Mark!" CJ yells and runs to him.
I see Nate and Clair walking over as well. "Hey, you made it just in time." Clair said giving me hug.
"Ya, I hope we aren't late?" Izzy says.
Nate shakes his head. "No, we actually just got done setting up the tables."

I look around to find Jack, but I couldn't find him in the crowed of people.
"Jacks inside getting a couple more things." CJ whispers.
"Oh ok." I say, feeling a little embarrassed.

We walked to the table and when everyone saw me coming their conversations got quieter, making feel uncomfortable. I don't know what Jack has told his pack about me, I just hope they aren't scared of me.

Reed catches me off guard and gives me a big hug. "Hey Reed" I laugh.
"Hey girl, how've you been. I was a little upset you didn't come say goodbye before you left today." He says making a sad face.
"I'm sorry, I had to go back home and take care of some things."
"I'll forgive you if you give me a kiss on the cheek" He says, pointing at his cheek. I roll my eyes and laugh.

"Reed do you have a death wish." Jacks says in a low scary voice. Reed quickly turns around and sees Jack giving him a death glare.
"What? I was kidding." He nervously laughs, but Jack doesn't look amused. Jack walks up to me and pulls me in for a long and passionate kiss.
