Jack
A week had passed since I left Athenas pack and let's just say it's been absolute torture being away from her. All my wolf wanted to do was get out and run to her, so I hadn't been able to shift in fear that he actually would. Thankfully though, I've been so busy with the moving process that it's been taking my mind off of it.Now that we are making the other campsite our permanent home. We had to find someone to take over this place. My mother was ok with the move, she said this would be good for me now that I have a mate, but she didn't want this place to just be abandoned. My father built this place with his bare hands, so it's only right we give it to someone who needs it. Thankfully my mother had a friend whose son wanted to start up his own pack.
Thankfully our plan worked with the bridge incident. My men had informed me that the two packs retreated back home to recover. They say that both packs believed it to be an ambush from each other, so now we don't have to worry about them coming after us.
I told my people about us moving our pack back to the old campsite for good and let's just say that some of them weren't quite as happy as most were. Some were upset about leaving this place and honestly I was as well. This is our home and this is where we grew up. As sad as it is, I know this is the right choice. We forgot how to be wolves, so hopefully we can learn their ways and gain that power back.
As others were sad to leave, I had a few people who were too scared to go. A rumor has been going around about Athena being possessed by a demon and they're concerned about their own safety, so I will have to speak with everyone and try to ease their minds.I sat in the kitchen table drinking my coffee and eating eggs. I the hear my front door open and see Nate walking into the kitchen. "Morning." He waves at me and I nod my head to him with a mouth full of eggs.
"So everyone is all packed. They're just finishing up a couple of things and then we should be good to go." He says. I see in his expression something was bothering him. I take a sip of my coffee and swallow the food down.
"What is it?" I say.
Nate sits up on his chair and places his hands on the table. "There's a couple of wolves that want to leave the pack and move to the city. They say they don't feel comfortable with Athena being our Luna." He explains. I stand up to put my plate in the sink and turn to look at Nate.
"Call everyone out for a meeting. I'll be there in five minutes." I order. Nate nods and walks out to inform everyone. I knew this was gonna be hard, when they saw Athena's form, my pack nearly lost it. They thought she would attack anyone that got in her way, but I know Athena and she's nothing like that.

When I went outside, I saw everyone already there waiting for me to show up. When they saw me coming they all put their attention to me and got quiet. Nate stands behind me and I can see my mom and CJ in the group looking confused.
"As many of you know, I have finally found my true mate." I say. "Athena Rose is the wolf I'm destined to be with and WILL be the next Luna."
The group starts talking amongst one another. Then I hear someone shout over the crowed. "How can we trust her, she has a demon possessing her. What if she decides to use that demon power on us?" The others start to agree with him and I had to raise my hand to silence everyone.
"I can't expect any of you to put your trust in her, but as your Alpha, I ask you to put your trust in me. I believe Athen would never lay a hand on any one of you." I swear.
"She tried to kill Sarah." I hear one of Sarahs friends yell from the back and before I can say anything CJ replies back.
"That bitch got what she deserved! She insulted another Alpha, it was Athenas choice to not start a war about it and if that doesn't show you prof, then all of you are idiots."
