While hanging out after a meeting with the new kids were discussing what they were going to do for the holidays and they all decided to go over to Donnie's house Christmas evening for a Christmas party. That's when Jordan asked if it's alright if I invite my lawyer friend she's been away from her home for the past three months, and I know she is homesick so can she party with us? Sure says Donnie, wait you've never talked about this lawyer girl before well at least not to me says Jon. Jordan rolls his eyes and says so anyways thanks I'll let her know Jordan looks down at his watch and says oh look at the time I really should be going see y'all later.

Jordan's POV
After leaving the guys I drove over to Genie's place to tell her the good news when I arrived she answered the door I could tell she had been crying so I asked her "What's wrong?" She rolled her eyes at me and said oh nothing I'm fine while walking towards the kitchen I walked behind her as we were in the kitchen I could see all the balled-up tissue on the countertop. I put both of my hands on her face and said come on tell me what's on your mind she shook her head and says ok I miss my home I miss being with my family and friends I was just sitting here reminiscing about being at home. As I pull her close to me and wrap my arms around her hugging her. Awe don't be sad Honey B you don't have to worry because you're Jordy got your back I promise you you won't have to spend Christmas alone. Now I came over to tell you you're invited to a Christmas party at my friend Donnie's house oh I'm going to get to meet the homies huh she said. Yes, I replied then she asked do they knew about us. I put my head down and my hand over my face and said no I told them we were friends surprisingly she acted like she didn't mind that at all she just simply said ok. Unfortunately, I had to cut my visit short because I had some things to take care of as we kissed each other goodbye I tried my hardest not to let her lips get the best of me this time.

Christmas Eve 2010

It was Christmas Eve and Jordan & Genie were both doing their own thing Jordan was spending it with his family ( his wife and their two sons) Genie went to a party at the law firm. While partying Genie thought to herself. " hmm I haven't heard from Jordan practically all day I wonder what he's up to?" Genie goes into a quiet room pulls out her phone and calls Jordan. While at his mom's house with his family, Jordan notices his phone is ringing he takes it out of his pocket, looks at it, and sees it's Genie calling Jordan declines the call and puts his phone back in his pocket. Genie gets his voicemail and leaves a message "Hey Jordy baby it's me Genie I was just thinking about you and wondering if you were ok or what you were up to but anyways I miss you call me back bye" Genie puts her phone away and goes back to the party. While dancing Genie noticed it was early morning and decided to head home.

It was 7:30 pm EST everyone was at Donnie's party eating, drinking, dancing, socializing Jordan was waiting by the front door nervously Jon walked over to Jordan and put his arms around his shoulder and said hey bro you alright? Yea, I'm fine Jordan replied As he smiled don't worry bro she'll be here what's her name by the way? Says Jon Her name is Genie Jordan replied it was now 8:45 pm Danny was Standing by the door talking to Donnie that's when someone started knocking on the door Donnie opened the sees a girl standing there hello may I help you Donnie said Hi I'm here to see Jordan is he here? She replied yea he's here come on in as she walked into the house she looked around at all the decorations and said beautiful just beautiful thanks Donnie said Jordan walked out of the kitchen and saw Genie talking to Donnie he walked over to them and said oh I see you've made it I was getting worried for a second. Donnie with a surprised look on his face says oh this is your lawyer friend?! Jordan shakes his head while giggling and says yea, hi I'm Genie nice to meet you said Genie while shaking Donnie's hand Jon comes over and shakes her hand and says hi I'm Jon Knight Jordan's brother, bonjour Jon  Genie replies nice you speak French? says Donnie are you French? Asked Jon yes I do speak French a little bit, no I'm not French. I'm Creole Louisiana creole that is Genie replied both Donnie and Jon said ooh! Genie asks where can I get something to drink? Donnie points to the kitchen He Genie in the kitchen and pours herself four shots of water (straight-up vodka) after a while she starts to open up while doing an open mic session at the party she grabs the mic and says I got one, ok girl whatcha got says Donnie Genie starts singing "I believe I can fly I got shot by the FBI and all I wanted was some chicken wings and a couple of collard greens I believe I can soar I see me running through that open door!" As Genie breaks off into laughter everyone else joins in the laughter and claps for her Joey Mac says to Jordan " Your friend sure is funny haha!  Jordan giggles while shaking his head
