The three boys are now at the garden after nila napakinggan yung tampuhan/away sa pagitan nila Bongbong at Liza. Although none of them are talking and the silence makes the chirping of the crickets go loud, their thoughts are even more louder that clouded their minds. Especially when they heard yung kinikimkim ng Mommy nila about their father's plan to give up Ana to Ka. Eduardo and his family years ago.
"Well," Sandro broke the tension, "do you think Dad would do this? Sa ating kapatid pa naman?" bakas sa boses niya yung disappointment.
Vinny sighed, "I... think, hindi n'ya naman 'to sinadya," sabi neto.
"How can you be so sure of this?" Simon looked at his brother, "You heard Mom said that Pops sounded like he forgot all of what happened."
"True." Sandro agreed, "Especially when Mom said that he told as if our sister is lost for how many years when it's not," he laid his back sa sandalan and sighed heavily.
"Hmmm..." Vinny hummed, thinking for an answer, "... maybe he had a reason why he chose to say as if nawawala si Anna. I don't know about you guys but... Pops just couldn't do this without thinking kung tama ba o mali. Although— he did say that baka pipiliin pa ni buncho si Ka. Eduardo over us, I hope we could hear more from his side about this." he noted that made the two nodded in agreement, kahit na parang sinaksak sa baga yung nararamdaman nila when their brother stated about Anna choosing the Executive Minister and his family... over her own family.
"I hope so, Vince," tumango naman si Simon.
"Welp, let's just pray that they'll talk about this... and magiging okay na sila ulit," Sandro stated firmly, "Naniniwala pa rin ako that our sister is totally fine with Ka. Eduardo—"
Vinny finished his brother's sentence, "—and babalik rin sa atin si buncho. Because we're her family. And if ever, had so much changes in her, being there for buncho is our only best thing we can do... along with magbakod tayo pag may nanliligaw sa kanya or meron na talaga, ah?" his last sentence made the three chuckle, knowing their vow to be their only men in their sister of a princess' life.
"I miss buncho... so much," Sandro sighed, glumly. And his two brothers sighed, too.
"And, speaking of Anna..." sabi ni Simon habang tumingin kay Vincent, "I also heard from Mom that you had a picture of her," he stated.
Napabilog yung mga mata ni Sandro dun, "Wait... what?" lalong na-iintriga ang panganay nang umuoo ang bunsong lalaki, "How? When?" he asked with heart pounding in excitement. That excitement of seeing his little sister after for more than a decade.
Without thinking twice, nilabas ni Vincent yung cellphone niya from his pants, binuksan ang gallery neto at pinakita sa dalawa niyang kapatid yung litrato that exposes him with three girls na naka-porma pang-choir with it's g-clef designs on their blouses.
"That was taken three days ago," sambit ni Vincent.
"Ehh, which of these three is Anna?" tanong naman ni Sandro, habang ni-zoom in ni Vinny yung litrato to the girl standing at his right that napasaso noo na lamang ang dalawa while observing her features, particularly her face itself.
"MUGGLY SKITTLES!" Sandro shrieked, noticing something similar on the girl's face, "Her eyes does take after Pops!" he pointed out.
"It is evident," Simon agreed, "lalo na the way her eyes shrink when she smiles like that... manang-mana nga from him!" dagdag pa neto. Too adorable! he thought.
