The day we've been waiting for has come. But first, I need to catch up in a busy morning lately. Eka nga; gawin ang dapat mong gawin. Walang oras na dapat sayangin.
Nag-courtesy call kanina ang Ambassador ng Italy as part of saying his congratulatory words and made offers para sa ating bansa. We just had light conversations, at naikwento ko naman sa kanya na that's where me and Liza got wedded, and he seemed to be charmed on the little story I told at nag-selfie naman kami afterwards.
I actually made a decision - just a few days ago to be the agriculture secretary - for now lang naman; as I'm still looking for someone who's qualified to be in this position - who not only have an eye for the agriculture sector, but also aware of what's happening in the world and sees it in a bigger picture. I know, two duties in one similar responsibility.
I know. Sounds tiring talaga. But you never know what you can do, until you try.
Sumunod naman is nagme-meeting with Atty. Vic and other appointed cabinet members, tackling about food security ng ating bansa. With tensions rising between Ukraine and Russia, may domino effect eto - shortage of supply ng pagkain is one of these. Kasama na talaga dito yung inflation na buong mundo ang nakaranas. We tackled on some steps that are possibly be implemented para maibaba, kahit papano; yung presyo ng mga bilihin - lalo na yung bigas.

Even though I'm the one inititated the meeting, I fought the urge to check the time ng pabalik-balik; baka sa sobrang haba ng tatalakayin namin ay 'di ko namalayan yung bilis ng oras.
Gosh, the adrenaline rush. Dala talaga eto kasi sa sobrang excited to na makita ang anak namin. I mean, who wouldn't be excited to do this, after for how many years?
Anyway, I just tell myself na tapusin na lang eto. Pag-usapan ang dapat pag-usapan, lalo na if there are questions and suggestions raised in the table. And that's it.
"Thank you, and I hope these steps will be implemented by August or September. We still have so much to adjust, but I'm certain that it all work out." I stated as our meeting concluded smoothly.
