The Araneta-Marcoses couldn't believe that the day they longed for had finally arrived. Their daughter is in their arms once again after years and years of being apart. At hindi na nila sasayangin ang pagkakataong binigay na makakasama muli ang minamahal na bunso.
But Bongbong feels that something's missing... or rather; someone's missing out the best thing that happened today...
"Too bad that Sandro missed this." Bongbong stated, causing the whole room to be quiet and his family to exchanging glances at each other.
"Uhmm... uhh... a-about that, p-pops..." Simon uttered, nervously looking at Liza and his siblings; unsure on how to break the news na binaril ang panganay on the same day that the attempted assassination took place.
"Sabihin mo na..." Vinny mouthed, tinaasan niya ang mga kilay neto at ningusuan pa.
Simon took a deep breath and said, "K-kasi... uhmm... s-si Sandro, pops..."
"Binaril?" sabi ni Bongbong, causing everyone to be stunned sa hinulaan niya.
His chuckled in astonishment. "W-what's with the faces? I'm just guessing what really happened to him." ani neto.
"I-it's true, Dad. Kuya Sandeng got shot... minutes after ka pong binaril." paliwanag ni Vinny.
God damnit! Bongbong thought, blew out a harsh sigh and wiped his face harshly. "Who came up with this scheme? Sino ang may pakana neto?" he asked, authoritatively.
"Ongoing pa rin po ang investigation, pops." panimula ni Simon. "Don't worry about it. Mom filed a case about that attempt to k*ll you and kuya– with tita Imee and tito Greg's help, syempre."
"Kaya kong tiisin 'to; pero... tangina naman! Bakit kailangang idamay pa si Sandro dito?!" nanggigigil netong sabi.
"Daddy, kalma po." hinaplos ni Anna ang mga balikat ni Bongbong. As much as she's upset at the turn of events and she wants this to end soon; she doesn't want her father turns into a monster everyone doesn't want to be.
He sighed. "Sorry, anak. I just wouldn't hesitate to lift my finger and bring hell to that person." Bongbong held her daughter's hand. "I may be a nice person, but that doesn't mean manhid ako sa mga ganitong sitwasyon. If they reached their limits, lalo na at kayo ang nasasaktan... I won't hesitate to bring them to hell... in my own way."
Anna could only nod in response. Couldn't blame him, anyways; she thinks.
*ring ring ring~*
"Ohh.. speaking of Sandro..." Simon fished his phone out from his pocket. To his surprise, it has Sandro's caller ID. Trust issues began to wash over him as he stared at the screen for seconds; unsure if the person calling him was his brother or someone else.
"Sino yung tumawag?" Liza asked, nagri-ring pa rin yung cellphone.
"Si Sandro." Simon replied.
"Well? Aren't you going to answer it?" tinaasan naman ng kilay si Liza.
"Okay, okay." Simon answered the call. "Shoot! FaceTime pala eto!" gulat netong sinabi; but his worry wiped off when Sandro's face flashes on the screen.
[Sandro: Hi, Si!]
"Kuya!" Simon sighed in relief. "Thank goodness, okay ka na! How are you?"
