Chapter Thirteen

Sarang came to class late on a beautiful and busy monday. She had already missed the morning assembly and no one noticed except her friends. Her class mates were busy gisting and when she walked into the class, her eyes fell on Hyunjin. He was looking directly into her eyes as if he had been waiting for her to arrive.

Sarang regretted the fact that her seat was even beside him. Just yesterday night he told her he doesn't have any feelings for her and he saw her completely drunk and helpless. She was by no means comfortable but rather embarrassed. Instead of sitting on her seat she walked to Choyeon and sat beside her. Choyeon and Aran were gisting then they saw Sarang.

"Where have you been?" Aran asked. "We didn't see you at the assembly."

"Oh," Sarang smiled. "I was late."

"Some of the teachers are talking about late coming. They want to start punishing late comers. You have to be careful." Choyeon said.

Sarang could still felt Hyunjin's cold gaze on her. She tried to act like she didn't know he was looking at her but it was really hard for her. Sarang felt slightly annoyed. Did he enjoy watching someone that he knew was avoiding him. She told Aran, Iseul and Choyeon to have some fresh air with her.

"The teachers will send us back." Iseul said.

"Then we can go to the rooftop. No one will see us there, then we'll come back when class begins." Sarang suggested and they all agreed.

They went to the top of the roof and continued gisting. The air there was so chilly and unreal. Hyunjin knew her rooftop suggestion was part of avoiding him, but he didn't blame her because anyone in her shoes will do the same.

Woojin was at the back of the class looking at Hyunjin, he looked directly to were Hyunjin had been staring at and he saw it was Sarang. The beauty goddess everyone was talking about, Hyunjin was in love with her, Ko Woojin thought in his heart and smirked. But he doesn't look like anyone who would fall in love so easily with someone, so I have to confirm.

Tae hoon sat with Woojin and begged him to play cards with him and Woojin offered Tae hoon to have tteokbokki with him and the others after school but he said he was on diet. Woojin was surprised. The whole Tae hoon is on diet, it was unbelievable. Tae hoon said he wanted to lose weight and become as sexy as he was before.

Everyone came back to class when Mrs Mina began her lessons. She wrote two questions on the white board and turned to the class. "You guys should find the equation and solve the problem, to be submitted tomorrow morning." She said before leaving the once noisy class again.

Sarang wanted to leave but she heard Hyunjin's voice. "Hwang Sarang."

She turned around. "What?"

He gestured his hand for her to come and she walked to his desk with her hands on her hips as if she was ready for a fight. "Are you avoiding me?" He asked.

"Haha." Sarang looked around the class to see if someone was looking at them but only Woojin was, so she felt relaxed. "Why do you think I'm avoiding you? It's not like we use to talk."

"Oh, I see." Hyunjin said and eyed her. "Why did you take your friends to the rooftop? I don't want a lot of people to be going there because it's my favourite."

"Waaah! I forgot, please pardon me." Sarang said and turned to leave.

"Here." Hyunjin stopped her again. "Give me your phone number."

Sarang furrowed her eyebrows in surprise. "Really? My number?"

Hyunjin glared at her. "You're the assistant class president, you need to be in the class group."
