The air in the lavish living room hung heavy with tension as Jiwon's stern voice echoed, "I can't believe you... Look at that bloody  face!! the audacity to ruin our name in front of that boy and his parents, and then sit there like you're unbothered. Not one ounce of regret!!," she yelled at her eldest, for the umpteenth time that day.

"Jin, you disappointed us yesterday. This is unacceptable behavior," Jin's father Manshik said. "You humiliated me in front of Judge Sanghoon and Namjoon's appa."

Seated in the large living room, Jin's eyes got teary as he kept his head low. He didn't feel sorry for standing up to Namjoon the night before, but he knew the timing was off. The day had been filled with series of scoldings, and he knew he deserved every word they said. . He could have handled it in a much more discreet way, but he got drunk and messed up the entire situation. A truth hitting him only when he got to his parents' place when he was called in to talk about it.

"Both of you, will you stop scolding him? What did he do wrong?" Taehyung interrupted , seeing Jin on the verge of breaking down.

"Oh, here comes the moral support,!!" Jiwon raised his hands in defeat.

"Taehyung!! Don't think of supporting him in this," Manshik warned, keeping a stern tone.

"Mom, dad, please stop harassing him. Hyung clearly doesn't like Namjoon; leave him alone..." Taehyung said, putting a comforting hand on Jin's shoulder .

Jiwon scoffed loudly hearing her youngest "Leave him alone?! If he doesn't like him, he should have told us instead of acting like a cultureless man . Do you even know what absurd things this imbecile blurted out for everyone to hear...Do you realise that he  ruined your engagement party!! are you still supporting him?!" She asked her son with big eyes.

Taehyung let out a sigh, his frustration growing steadily. His brother had always been the golden child in their parents' eyes, and it irked him. From a young age, Jin had made it into a habit of taking all the blame even when Taehyung did something wrong and he hated that .

"Careful with your mouth, Mom!! He is still your son and my brother...also...Like you would listen to him if he expresses his dislike for Namjoon .He told you many times that he doesn't want to get married...yet you are forcing him into everything. What's wrong if he takes over the company without being married? He worked hard for it and he deserves it..and what does his marital status have to do with it?! That man is a psycho...do you want your son to go to his house and be what? Just someone who will be a baby-making machine for him?"

"Taehyung, Namjoon is a respectable young man!! He wants to get married and have kids, what's wrong with that?! And you are 5 years younger than Seokjin; you are getting married before him...imagine the shame it brings us in the society!! He is old enough for everything. I had both of you when I was his age. Is it too much to ask for?" Jiwon asked as she insisted on making her point.

"It is, Mom!! It's his life; it's his decision when he should marry and make babies, and also who he should marry, just like I had the freedom," Taehyung argued

Jiwon scoffed, hearing her son's statement. "Be glad you didn't choose anyone but Jimin...you would have seen my real face otherwise." She said smirking and folding her hands

Taehyung chuckled, pinching the bridge of his nose and glancing at his parents. "Like I care!! Jimin is the one I care about, not you. He's the one I'm spending my life with and having
babies with..In essence, he's the only one that matters."
